Thank you for taking the time to locate and photograph grave markers. I use many grave marker pictures to document the lives of my ancestors and their descendants. May I use this photograph in my personal family tree file? I will so note that it is from: Find A Grave Contributor: Linda Cardenas #47118566.
Thank you again for your time and effort, I do appreciate it very much.
God Bless,
Debi Morris

RE: Friese photos-Gotebo Cemetery
They are distant cousins by marriage on my wife's side, so not close. May I use them in my tree though? Thanks, Bob

Thank you so much for correcting and transferring management of Eva Kummerfeld. I am very grateful and excited to be able to share the information with various family members. If you are able find her grave and take a photo some time, that would be great! Thanks for helping me and so many other families.

RE: Billy Joe Scholes
Many, many thanks for transferring David Elmo Scholes to me.

Also, thanks for the advice about giving my number when requesting a transfer.

Also, thanks for the information about Billy Joe Scholes, brother of David Elmo. He's also my cousin.

I don't know who Dannie L. Scholes is, but he is probably a relative.

I believe that anyone named Scholes, from AR or OK, is some relative of mine.

Does the book, "Fighting men of Oklahoma," have photographs of each person?

Thanks again, for all your assistance and advice,

Kathleen MacLennan

RE: Johann Suderman
Hi Linda, He was originally buried in the Mennonite Brethren cemetery, which was next to the church building in the town of Gotebo. My aunt showed me where it was, and my recollection is that it was in the SE part of town. According to records I have seen, the church started in about 1903 and gradually dissolved in the mid- or late-1910s. That is when the graves from the church cemetery were moved to the town cemetery where they are at present. Let me know if you have any more questions. Best regards, Steve

You're welcome Linda. Believe me, when I'm unable to find a marker, I'm as sad as those who request it.

RE: Johann Suderman
Hi Linda, thanks for taking the time to do such thorough documentation and research about the cemetery. I just wanted to follow up with you on my request. My aunt and I did some research and found Johann Suderman's obituary in a German newspaper. We also found family records that he had been buried in the Mennonite Brethren church cemetery in town, and then his grave was moved to the town cemetery along with the rest of the graves from that church. So we put a marker on the unmarked Suderman grave there.

Thanks again for your work,
Steve Fast

Yes, after I posted the photo....then I noticed the other memorial and I added a tidbit to my photo caption. Do you want me to delete it on the Spraggins memorial?

Lee Anderson Enid, Ok.
Are you sure about the parents? Are you family? I have a book on the cemetery put out by the genealogy society and it says his parents are H.H. and Cora K. Anderson. They got their information off the cemetery records. I have gone ahead and put what you sent me, but I am not sure, that is why I ask if you are family.
