G W Patterson
GW Patterson is my Great Grandfather. I see that you recently added his memorial. I would like to know more about the Gish Funeral Home record. Is it possible to get a copy of that? If he was born in Georgia that would make a little more sense since his mother Mary Elizabeth Taylor was born there. I have his father John Patterson's birth state as Tennessee but again that would make more sense if he was born in GA. Any info would be greatly appreciated since I have hit a wall with my search! His half sister Rebekah (McKay) Mckillip is also buried in Sentinel.

Oklahoma Cemeteries in fields
There are a lot of cemeteries in my area also on farms. What a sad story to know that a lot of people are buried without a tombstone. I have never head of people buried at night, but I am sure that happened. My gr-gr-grandmother is buried in our city cemetery without a tombstone. I do not know exactly what area of the cemetery she is buried in. If I did know, I would buy her a small footstone. At least I do know what cemetery she is buried in. Thanks for sharing your story. Thanks for posting a tombstone photo on William W. Harris memorial. William is my lst cousin 4 times removed. He lived in Dent Co., MO before moving to Oklahoma. Thanks for giving me permission to use his tombstone photo. I will give you all the credit. The biography on the Grissom Cemetery web page is interesting. Is the cemetery actually in a field? That is what it looks link in the cemetery photo.

I'm sorry, I thought I listed the memorial # 31877638. Isaac Huntley "Ike" Armstrong is the same person as J. H. Armstrong #147053617. On the Headstone its the initial I. They have the same birth dates and the same wife. The death dates are the same also.
