|t turner||Turner Family|
Hello Carolyn , I have been researching the Turner family for years . I have documented my line back to 1781 with Henry Turner . I have no info on his parents or siblings . I accidentally came across John Harbinger Turner and for some reason I started noticing a few things - some names are similar or the same, I didn't think much about it til I realized something else in common - South Carolina -Georgia and Pope County ,Ark. (places they came from and places they went to) Do you know any info on John Harbinger Turner siblings or parents . Thank you very much ,tturner

I would like to use a few of your photos of Mary and James Cyrus McAnulty on my ancestry.com family tree. You have a photo of a couple that I assume are these two. They are my stepdaughter's great grandparents. Thanks,

|janto46||Margaret & John M. Treadwell|
Are you related to John M. and Margaret Rackley Treadwell - Memorial # 7359891? I have a list of their children from Ancestry.com that I cannot verify. One they list is Ellen Treadwell. I found her marriage to W. E. Godfrey 9 Mar 1902 in Witt Springs (near Pope County, AR). Her Find a Grave Memorial #35403033 doesn't have parents listed. Do you have a complete list of Margaret and John's kids? These are my kids great grandparents.

Everything seems to stop with my Grandfather. All I know is what my mother has told me. I don't even know his mother's name. All I know is that she was of German decent. My Grandfather knew how to speak German and taught it to my older brother and sisters. I never knew him. He had passed about 14 years before I was born. He had black hair and black eyes, Grandma had blonde hair and blue eyes, but my mother had red hair and green eyes.

I have plenty on Verda McAnulty/McGee. I have her family quite a ways back to Scotland and Ireland. It is my Grandfather that I can find nothing about. I have no idea what his father's name was. When I had asked my mother what her grandfather's name was, she told me that she could not remember because he was dead by the time she was born, but everyone said he had red hair.

Hello...many long years have gone by. Our computer broke down many years ago, and I have been looking for your particular posts on the McAnulty family again. Ok...so...as you can see I have a new email. My Grandmother was Verda McAnulty/McGee. Her husband William McAnulty, is the one that I am trying to find the family. He had a son named William too, but that was my Uncle William Raymond. If you have any information on the family of William McAnulty Sr. I would appreciate it. I can't find anything...smiles.

Martha Ellen Duvall Turner
I have been informed that the memorial I created #36776561 for Ellen Duvall Turner is a duplicate. I created mine in 2009 and you created yours in 2007. By rights, since you did create yours first, it should be yours. I will gladly delete mine but first I need to know if this person is family to you.
Also, I hate to delete mine since it has a picture of the gravestone.
Looking to hear from you.
Carolyn Hargrove Hooten
I cannot delete as I transferred awhile back. You can delete yours and add your photograph to the original one.

Sorry to say this, but I have been informed that the memorial for Ellen Duvall Turner is a duplicate, but I cannot delete it since you are the original contributor. You graciously transferred it to me some years ago, but, I too, did not realize it was a duplicate.
Please delete: Find A Grave memorial #36776561 which is a duplicate of the one for Martha Ellen Duvall Turner. Many thanks, and my apologies. ~Linda

Hi, Carolyn. It has been a long time since you took the beautiful photos, but is it possible for you to remember the two stones on this memorial. The one is so lovely but the one is just like his wife's. Can you shed some light on the two stones for Frank. If not don't feel bad, I love your photos and will assume the family didn't like the first one. Thanks for the use of your brain. Kaye

You mentioned that you have many pictures of Rebecca "Becky" Brown. Would you mind sending some to me. I have none. It would be wonderful to have photos of my great great grandmother.
Thanks for your time and consideration,

Hi Carolyn, I am a gr-neice of Vernon Kelley. His Brother William Elbert was my grandfather. I was wandering thru Ancestry and saw a lot of hints in my family tree and started checking them out. It's nice to see others are helping so very much. You are right, Genealogy is very addictive and sooooo much fun. B-T-W, Uncle Vernon's sister just ahead of him was Etta and married a Hargrove. (there were 15 of the Kelley kids) Thanks for the picture and info in Find A Grave.

Many thanks, and would you please transfer my dad's memorial to me so I might add to it. The Parents of John Hargrove were Benjamin Franklin Hargrove and Mary Caroline Burgess. Mary Caroline left a written record of her life, including her travels to Texas in a covered wagon. I have it under the Martin-Davis Family tree (public) @ ancestry.com. It is wonderful reading and makes you feel as though you were there.

Bingo. My wife is Redelle. Her grandmother was Ellie Hargrove from Throckmorton, TX. We didn't know if the Hurd grave picture was fortuitous or if the families are actually linked.

Carolyn, I see that you left a picture of my dad's headstone in Terry County Memorial Cemetery (Howard Hurd). Thank you for the beautiful photo. I have wondered about your name because my wife's ancestors carry the Hargrove name. (John William Hargrove 1867-1961). Wondered if there is a relationship.
