Find A Grave edit: Andrew Norman Parker
Thanks for the suggestions. I gladly incorporate additional information in memorials, when reliable sources are provided. All too often in my experience, data submitted via F/G’s 'automated' suggestion system is inaccurate, and sometimes even conflicting. I therefore now ask that each correction/suggestion be submitted with evidence supporting the proposed change, by using the Suggest any other correction or addition option under the memorial’s Edit tab. Edits remaining undocumented after two days will be declined.

I applaud your posting of what this site has evolved into. You are so right when you ask, "what DO you want with my great, great aunt?"
(Good question!)

Further, how can they totally ignore people who do ask for a transfer? Their numbers don't change when they transfer, they are still the original creator.

Sadly, there are those who just absolutely will not let go of a memorial, no matter what. They like seeing their name on the top contributor list. Pathetic.

I'm glad to see there are others besides me who feel this way. -Pam

Edith Lee, Lindenwood
Edith Lee was cremated on April 9, 1965. That info was in Lindenwood's records. To find out where her cremains are, you will need to call them and ask (they will not tell me). 260-432-4542

I have a photo of the headstone but all grave photo slots have been filled with personal photos. Would you consider removing one to make way for the grave marker? It's quite a nice stone.

Aileen Mae Crabill
Hi Steve, I am trying to do some research on Aileen May Roberts, born abt. 1896 in St Asaph Flintshire, Wales. Some of my research has lead me to Aileen May Crabill, and I wondered if you could shed some light on this. My Aileen's parents were Thomas F. Robert and Sarah Maguire Roberts, both born in Wales and immigrated to the United States in 1906, Thomas a little earlier in 1904-05. She had 2 brothers, Frederick Bernard and one that died at age 17, Henry Elway; sisters Kathleen May and Vera R. The family lived in Chicago for a few yesrs.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sabatka Suggestion
I do not believe there is a link between Robert J Satbatka (132301816) and Joseph Sabatka Jr (15196563), they could be distantly related though, definitely not immediate family. Robert Sabatka's family was born in Ohio.
