Janice: Thank you so much for the headstone pictures; I have been gone a couple days to the coast and to Roseburg as a friend was visiting from New Mexico....I made her go to one of the cemeteries to leave flowers...fun for me. I think it is weird that no one else picked up on those requests...not too many Find a Grave photographers in your area I guess.
Thanks...we are rounding them up

It was lovely to see your name again. The headstone shots for Joseph Roy #17237521 and Mary L Roy #17237536 were beautifully done. Their daughter, Louisa Roy, married Thomas Coyl. Their son Joseph Roy Coyl married one of the Vigles girls, Mary Jane. Thank you again for the photos.

|Curtis Huffman||RE: Lucy E. Short Bellis|
First off, I am not related. I was simply documenting this section of the cemetery.
Lucy Bellis is buried in what appears to be a family plot with a standing monument of "Briggs".
On her death certificate it lists her father as George W. Short and mother as Mary Flowers. It says that she is a widow 2 times and indicates her most recent spouse as John Bellis. The informant is listed as George N. Briggs.
From the death certificate of George N. Briggs, Sr. , (6/22/1884 – 9/26/1959) it lists his father as Isaac Briggs and mother as Lucy Short.
I hope this information helps.

|Phil & Kathi||Oh, My...|
You're either going to want to scream at me or you're laughing at me. Either would be justified!! You were correct in your initial message about John Rimmer. He's at Gordon. Much of the information on various sources is incorrect, but I think I have it figured out.
But I do appreciate your time!!!

|Phil & Kathi||Oops!|
Wrong John Rimmer! The dates are different. It looks like there were two John Rimmers in Ray County. One born in 1860 and one in 1863.
