|Nancy Meadows||Warford Cemetery Howard County|
Hi J Y,
I was so glad to see the pictures you posted of some of the stones for those buried in this cemetery. Has the cemetery been restored? I am especially curious about the stone for John Madison Warford and when that was placed. Do you know if all the stones there were photographed? It seems the cemetery must be pretty far off Rt 3, but is the public allowed to visit? Sorry for all the questions!

Thank you for the foto and the foto of her grave. Where did you find the foto? Are you related? She's my direct ancestor. Is the Warford Family Cemetery the same as the Walnut Hill Cemetery?

Thanks for the photos ... I wasn't the requester - I created the memorials. My grandparents are buried in Wesley Chapel, along with many other relatives and family friends. I live in Michigan, but last time I was down there I visited the cemetery and took some photos myself. Beautiful old cemetery! :) Do you live near there?

Thanks for the information. Do you know who owns the Children's Cemetery land?

J.Y. -- Thanks for finding and reporting the error with Martin and his wife -- Washington Church, not Washington Cemetery. Find-a-Grave switched the couple to their proper location, and I've deleted the incorrect memorials. Your time is valuable; I appreciate what you did.
By the way, do you know anything about a 19th century "Children's Cemetery" in or around Glasgow? I'm sure it's either abandoned or lost by now. Several of my family are reportedly buried there after an outbreak of some contagious disease in Howard County in the 1840s.
Again, thanks for your efforts.
