Thanks for his headstone picture. He was a classmate of mine and I didn't know he had passed.

RE: Henry Rohrbach
Most of the information I have obtained comes from documents on the website. Not all of the information has been confirmed, but I use it as a placeholder. Henry Rohrbach II was my 3rd Great Grandfather!

RE: Zachariah Linton Rollins
The Old rollins cemetery might be a family cemetery and maybe it is in the pasture of an old homestead, and not recorded yet. The only other choice is it has a second name. Sometimes cemeteries have gotten renamed. The cemetery at the end of my block has been renamed 3 times since i have lived here. i entered names and later found out it was a different name before the one I knew. That is when the admistration of find a grave can do a name link.
Good luck with your search. Have you tried the Library , town clerk, or historical societies?

RE: Zachariah Linton Rollins
No problem. if you look at the research that I have done on Elijah & Mary Rollins you will also see the new bio and there is NO son named Zachariah and Elijah & Mary never left the state of NH. The only children that left the state went to Ohio.

Zachariah Linton Rollins
Hi Sweet Pea. I received a message that your link of the Zachariah Rollins memorial to possible father Elijah Rollins 1750-1809. My Elijah is in New Hampshire and yours is in Virginia if I recall. so there may be an error and a link you need to remove. sincerely rick p

Subject: error in descendants

I am in the DAR. I believe that there is an error in a 'family' history on 'Find A Grave'. Zachariah Linton Rollins. The data on him and later descendants seems to be correct. However, his father was indeed Elijah Rollins. But, not the one that is listed. Zachariah's father was Elijah Rollins. Born, 1759. Died around 1810. He was married to Elizabeth MacGill, in Prince George's County, MD on 8-6-1778. There were 14 children (I believe) born of this union. This Elijah Rollins ended up in Mason County, Virginia (now western West Virginia).

You made an entry for no tombstone, then placed the tombstone. Would you please delete the no tombstone entry at the # above? Thank-you, Jackie

Hi Sharon,
I knew her parents, Orville and Lois (Beesing) Manes, but we're not related to the family - so no need to transfer. Orville was a genuinely nice guy - his wife, Lois, was in the same Amherst graduating class as my sister. He will be missed. Thanks for writing.

You are welcome. I had 2 photos, but it would only let me upload one of them. I took a close up shot of the lettering, and then one of the whole stone. I enjoyed doing it. It was a beautiful day to get outside, and I enjoyed helping someone.

Hannah C. Smith Mutz
Greetings Sweet Pea...

Hannah C. Smith's death certificate has several problems. When she married Frank X. Mutz in 1893, Frank was 21 and Hannah was 41. They spent the rest of their lives lying about their ages, Frank pretending to be older and Hannah pretending to be younger. The death certificate is the ultimate, giving Hannah's birth year as 1868 when in fact she was born on 11 Jan 1852 in Lorain, Ohio. At the ripe old age of 8, she's right there in the 1860 census in Lorain County with her parents Lester and Hannah Smith. She is named after her mother, Hannah C. Jackson.

The spelling "Hanna" is incorrect on her death certificate. In the 1860 and 1870 censuses she and her mother are both "Hannah." On her marriage license of 16 May 1874 to William H. Pendleton she is "Hannah" as she is on her marriage license to Frank X. Mutz. In the 1900 census she is "Hannah Mutz."

Only the death certificate has "Hanna" but I know of no other records that don't spell it as "Hannah."

Thanks for all you do for FindaGrave!

I sent a photo request for Hannah out so we'll see if anyone claims it. I asked whomever claims it to see if Frank X. Mutz is buried next to her. His death certificate has him in the same cemetery.

Thomas Taylor - Calvary Cemetery
I just added a photo to his memorial, and then noticed that you had claimed a request for photo on his memorial. If you'd like, I can remove my photo - just let me know. Didn't know there was a request out there until after I posted the photo.
