RE: Thank you!
Oh, Emily, I know! I can't tell you how many times I've been to Liberty over the years to visit relatives' graves and never gave "Tinney" a second thought. I was SOO excited when I cleaned off that tomb and realized it said "Finney"! Considering that she lived with the Gambles after she came to Alabama, it all made sense.
I'm also going to post on USGWArchives all the errors and additions there are in the Liberty cemetery survey. My grandmother is one of the errors....along with Nancy. Glad I could help you, too.

Nathan Crawford
Emily, some of the other descendants are saying that his middle name was Maxwell, his mother's maiden name. There is a Nathaniel M. Crawford on the Georgia Cherokee Land Lottery. I either found him on the 1870 census or made a mistake. I went back to check and could not find him on 1870 census, so I must have gotten confused on the years. I will make a correction on that. Thank you for pointing that out to me. R.J.

Good Morning, Emily:

I have added some of the information you sent me on William Woods; I had hoped to add information to the memorial to his 2nd wife, but could not find one. I know you put a lot of effort into this research, and if you would like to add your own information to the William Woods site, just let me know, and I will be happy to transfer the site to you.

Happy Researching,
Bette Hartman

Thomas Harrison Smith
Hi Emily

The 1862 was a typo, I had the correct date in my database. However I didn't know his middle name other than "H." I added the marriage date, I had 15 Apr but I added 16 Apr, I don't know which is correct. Perhaps it was a two day affair?

Have requested a pic for Rice Whitaker's stone. I think I'll wait to make any changes until I see what that tells us. Thanks so much for your input!

Gene Hill
Millard Fillmore Glasgow
Hi Emily,

Thank you for your insight on Richard/Millard Fillmore Glasgow.

I completely agree with you, so I made the changes.

There are a lot of descendants following this pioneer family, so I'm sure the info that you helped me with, will be of benefit for many years to come.

Thank you for all you do,
Gene
