Fordville cemetery
Hi, I walked the entire cemetery and could not locate the stone of Joseph James. There are several funeral markers which no longer have name tiles on then, so it's likely his is one of them, if he is definitely buried there. I did find one Naomi James, if you'd like the picture let me know an email address or some way to get it to you.

Rose Sleith
I posted a shot of the area Rose is in with the rows labeled. As you will see, there are very few stones. The lack of stones make it hard to see where she may actually rest. If there is anything i can do to help let me know

RE: Hollis Banks
You're welcome. I didn't notice him when I photographed his parents stones because I'm photographing a row at a time and he is in the row in front of his parents. You can see them in the photo behind and to the left.

RE: Verdell Thomas
Verdell was my mother. Yes, I would certainly appreciate it if you could transfer her grave listing to me. Thank you very much for your reply and for getting her grave listed so quickly.

Blessings,
Keith Thomas

RE: Rose Sleith
I can do a long angle of the row she is in is probably the best I can do. There were only 4 or 5 graves in the row. So sad. I'll pick the area that has graves around the same year if possible.
Yes, I saw that comment about deleting your requests and that was why I sent the info. Ticked me off and I'm not even related to you LOL. I know there are a couple of volunteers who do that cemetery regularly so hopefully they will be able to find your loved ones.
Good luck. If you have anymore requests in Glendale let me know. Haven't branched out to anywhere else yet. Martha

Clarification
Saw you posted that Rose Sleith has no marker in the request area. Do you want a picture of the area she would be in ? Lots of little stones to each "plot" but will try to label where she might be for you.
Also, Rosedale-Rosehill is considered 1 cemetery. Started off as 2 different ones in 1900 but were combined in1986. It is located in Linden NJ. To find which 'cemetery' and/or plot you can check their name search at Rosedale-Rosehill.com.
There is a Rosedale Cemetery also in Orange NJ. (On my wish list to get to some day lol).

RE: Rosehill/Rosedale
No. But whoever started the cemetery, and it seems to be someone who simply copies form on-line look-ups, not a real volunteer, merged them. They are only administratively merged. They are two separate sites. It's impossible to determine where the person is actually buried.

I've e-mailed the administrators and asked them to create two separate cemeteries. Someone, did, correctly, create a Rosehill.

I was there Saturday, and there were 11 funerals. The staff simply didn't have time to tell me where someone was buried.

But, when people simply steal from on-line directories....

Did GOH actually send you any photos? I've received messages that they are not taking photos for people. Please let me know
Evelyn

Rosehill/Rosedale
Have you considered deleting all your Rosehill/Rosedale markers and entering them in in separate cemeteries, or at the very lease, indicating in which which cemetery the grave is located? They are TWO separate cemeteries.

Sleith
Hi I hope the pictures I have added to James Henry Sleith are ok The stone was longer than usaual as it had 4 names on it and was extremely hard to get the stone all in one photo. so I took a photo of the whole stone then a photo of each of the 4 individual sections. I know what section the grave is in if you would like me try to get a different photo. The other Seith's on the stone do not yet have memorials. Kathi

The nice man was in the office this morning, and he was willing to look Nellie up, since I knew where William was.He confirmed she is next to him, to the left if you are facing his stone. But she does not have a marker. So I am posting a picture showing his marker and the space next to it. The great news is St Josephs is going on line, and you can put in the name and see the marker!

RE: William Sleith
Sorry, there are no other Sleith in Laurel section except William. Laurel is for veterans. And the only other Sleith listed in the cemetery as per the online directory is Rose. I don't think she has a marker as I have photographed that section of Infantile before and her name isn't in my file. But I will go back to check before I say for sure.
