Thank you very much for your willingness to search for Amaziah's headstone! I recently called the cemetery and that is the plot they gave me so apparently there is no stone. Your generosity is sincerely appreciated.

Kathy - Thanks for the time and effort you put in for this request. It can be a bit frustrating for me, but at least I now know there is no adjoining grave. I wonder if the cemetery even has a record for her? Thanks again.

I knew him when I was a teenager.
That improves his memorial a lot.

I made the correction to Ernestís death date, will check the next few days to make sure it is corrected.
I have a done a little research on Monroe. The records I have show's him as being a brother to Emma Powell. Emma Powell being the wife James C Ramey/Rainey. James being Emma Bainís stepson.
Monroe Powell born 8-22-1903, died 5-13-1952 buried Ebenezer Baptist Morgan Co. Al. Married Clema B Wallis 3-29-1947 Jefferson co. Al
Emma Bain born 3-1889, died 7-11-1955
1940 Crittenden Co. Arkansas census has Zack age 47, Emma age 50, Earnest Wilhite age 8
I am in north Alabama.
Hope to hear from you.

Thanks for the information. No, I did not know about Monroe Powell I would love for you to share what you know about this husband.
tried to email you back no luck, Please check my notes I have added them to Emmie Isbell, Cedar cove cemetery
I do know that:
A.) Her stepdaughter, Laurie Ramey, was the first wife of Mr. Isbell. Both Laurie and James Isbell are buried at Cook Cemetery, Morgan Co. Al.
B.) Her stepdaughter, Frances Tiny Ramey married Jonathon David Crow. If I remember right who was a relative of Dallas Floyd Crow. Both Tiny and David are buried at Lebanon Cemetery, Morgan Co. Al
C.) Her stepson James C. Ramey married Emma Powell (daughter of Daniel S Powell and Roda Ann Moss both are buried at Ebenezer) James and Emma are buried at Gum Springs, Morgan Co.
Note Daniel was the grandson of Abraham and Sarah, Abrahamís 1st wife.
4.) Her husband Zack Wilhite father Ezekiel was married to Mary Powell. Daughter of Nancy Mulkey and Abraham Powell.
I am not a blood relative of Emma. I was researching my motherís Great Uncle Edward Carnell who married Laura Bain Morgan Co. 1911. He was about 38 years older then her. I was having trouble locating her after the 1920 Morgan Co. Alabama census. Edward is buried at Cedar Creek also, per birth certificate. They divorce 1925 Morgan Co. Al. Laura died 12-22-1979 Osceola, Fl and is buried there.
Laura and Emmaís other sister Ida Bain Maze (James C) went to Florida about the same time. Ida died 1-9-1963 St. Cloud Fl and is buried there at Sabastian Cemetery. James C Maze is buried at Cedar Creek.
I am researching my fatherís, grandmotherís, grandmother Lucinda Tate. I have came across the above Powellís and Mulkeyís from the 1830ís in north GA census all through the years. I just cannot make a connection. I cannot get back past the above Lucinda. Lucinda had a son he who named his 1st born Mulky.
We have had a mtdna test done.
Hoping to hear from you,

I'd like to have this memorial transferred to me if at all possible. This is my uncle and he is buried next to my parents.

Thank you for attempting to photo Maggie's marker. I have sent an edit request to the "owner" of the memorial suggesting that they post a note on Maggie's memorial stating a Find A Grave volunteer found no marker -and, thus, people won't continue to request photos. Thank you for your time and effort.
