RE: Boys Of Summer
Hi Gary;

You're right. I googled to see what some of the guys looked like in their old age and it makes me feel very old. I had read an article on Don Mincher just a few months back so it was ironic that he left us. Spring training is always a great time of year. Hope things are well with you. Talk to ya soon.

RE: Jim Northrop has passed away...
Never heard about Jim. Thanks for letting me know. The 1968 WS was the first I ever watched. I remember it quite well too. I was 11 at the time. They are dropping quite frequently aren't they? I guess we are not getting any younger.

That's right. I have complete OPC hockey sets from 1967 to 1992 as well as my baseball sets. Take care.

RE: Another one Don...
Hi Gary. I remember that WS so well. I have a complete Topps set from that year and am currently working on the O Pee Chee set from that year. VERY TOUGH. I need one card to complete it.(#714 Dick Williams) I have about $5000.00 into the set. The Topps set had green backs and the OPC yellow. The high numbers(523-752) are almost impossible to find in OPC. Do you have quite a collection? Ciao.

You're right. I never noticed that. I wonder how common it is? I have that set but it is in my mothers attic. I'll have to check that out. Thanks for pointing it out to me.

'Morning Gary. I was shocked to see that as well. I always liked Paul as a player. We must be getting old as it seems everyone is leaving. A sad day in K.C. Have a great day yourself.

Harmon Killebrew
'Morning Gary. I see this morning we lost another great one in Harmon. Being a lifetime Twins fan he was my hero growing up. I just learned he had cancer on Sat., bought a get well card and had it on my lunchpail to mail it this morning! Too late. If this can happen to Harmon, what is to become of us? What indeed. Ciao for now.

Hi Gary. Actually it took a day or two but Rick Martin is posted here. I left a tribute. Nick Harbaruk passed away a couple of days before him and Mitchell Page around the same time as well. They are all checking out. But you're right, lets play ball. Love this time of year. Take care.

RE: Woodie Fryman...
Morning Gary. I was surprised as well. I Googled to find out what killed him and apparently he has had Alziemers for the past 6 years. We lost another good guy. Yes, I did watch the Super Bowl. Don't like either team but at least it stayed relatively close. It wouldn't have surprised me to see Pittsburgh score on that last drive. Great talking to you as usual. Ciao for now.

Not sure if you heard but we lost Bob Feller on Weds. A truly sad day for baseball. Merry Christmas to you and yours as well Gary.

Good Heavens, I never heard about that. Thanks for letting me know Gary. He was a good one. Solid infielder that hit for power. And he was a good announcer as well.

RE: Ed Kirkpatrick..
Yes Gary. I seen that. I asked for his autograph in 1986 and it was in really shaky handwriting, like he had a stroke or something. I never knew he had been in an auto accident which, of course, explains everything now. Thanks for writing. Hope all is well with you.

WS 2010
Hi Gary. My Twins didn't make it but neither did the Yanks. I am pulling for the Rangers to win it all now. Enjoy the series...should be some good ball.

Hi Gary. My Twins couldn't knock off the Yanks but the Rangers did. Good luck with the Celtics this year as well.
