Thank you for looking for the grave of Nancy Booe at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro, Indiana. She was my great grandmother and I have been looking for her grave for many years. The best evidence I have is that she died in Kansas, so I was surprised to find the entry for her in Indiana but not at the Scotts Prairie Cemetery near Veedersburg where her husband is buried. You have essentially confirmed my suspicion that the individual posting this information was fabricating it. I wrote to her once and got an evasive answer. Why people do this kind of thing is beyond me, but unfortunately this is not my first such experience. So I really appreciate your efforts which have laid the matter to rest for me. Thanks. Jim Booe

Thanks for locating for headstone for Jane Wells (I had frequently looked for it.) I enhanced the reading in June and thus made it reasonably legible. Thanks again. Vernon

Thank you for making the changes. I am aware of the error in the Scott County cemetery book. I am actually a member of SCGS but live out of the area. I will be visiting in June and I will talk to the SCGS officers about making the correction. I would also like to thank you for all the work you have put into documenting Cravens Cemetery.

You have the wrong parents linked to Helen Marie Montgomery. Helen was my aunt and she was the first born child of Earl Montgomery (#162548180) and Olive Grace Montgomery (#137373244). They are buried at Mount Zion Cemetery in Clark County. They were living in Vienna when Helen Marie died and can be found there in the 1920 census with their second born child Violet Montgomery. They eventually had 13 children. Helen has four siblings that are still living.
Helen has been mistakenly identified as the daughter of Earl E. Montgomery since he has the same first name as her actual father and is buried in the same cemetery.
I can send you a copy of Helen's death certificate which lists her parents as Earl Montgomery and Grace Dailey. Earl and Grace's family Bible also lists the birth and death of Helen Marie. Please make the corrections as soon as possible.

Hi, May I have permission to use your photo on Uriah's profile on Wikitree?
I have already added it, but it's easy to remove if you don't want me to use it.

Melissa -- Thanks very much for the transfer of my GG Grandmother Nancy and her firstborn son to me. I appreciate your nice message and detailed information and where you obtained it, which I'm finally happy to have answer that Thomas' middle initial is E instead of B. Yes, thanks, I did have info. that Clement and Nancy were her parents, and I had requested their transfers to me. I appreciate your offer of further assistance.....I've searched Thomas Thompson on Ancestry and cannot find any other information on him and can't find him in censuses. A relative of mine states he was born in Cecil County, MD, on 9-11-1823 and had his marriage info., and stated Thomas' father was Thomas B. Thompson, but no sources were listed. If you happen to know of any other records in your area which would tell Thomas' background, I would appreciate your ideas. Thanks, again.

Thanks for his date of death. However, his year of birth on this record is based on his age at death. It is possible that he could have died later in the year and his age would be 87 instead of 86. I don't post birth years like this. I did however, find him on the 1900 census - he was born in Feb. of 1831.
