RE: Thank you for picture John Milton Welsh
"PS - was there by chance a marker on the ground?"

No, Karen. When I take the photos I step back from the headstones like 4 to 10 meters, depending on the angle, but before I do that, I go just a few inches away from the existing headstones and kneel down just to read the location engraved at the bottom, so if there were any flat stone for John Milton Welsh, I would have seen it. I am very familiar with flat stones and have taken a few photographs when they have been requested.

Old Cooper Cemetery
I note that you are requesting a photo for John Litchfield's marker. I have been to this cemetery multiple times over the past 5 years. It is heavily overgrown and virtually inacessible. There are 2 John Litchfield's buried there. I have working with several organizations to bring in equipment to clear the property, but it is a huge task. When/if that happens it is our intention to catalog & photograph all visible markers. Will let you know if we are successful.

Fletcher Litchfield
Karen, while searching for a map to Knotts Island Cemetery I came across the following website which already had a picture of Fletcher's stone marker:

I will post a copy of the picture, just thought I would give you this website in case there are any other markers that you might need from this cemetery. I was looking forward to the drive tomorrow, ends up being easier than that. Jerry

RE: Whiteman
I checked through the info that I have and could not find Frederick Whiteman. If I run across any info I will let you know.

RE: John Eanes
Just so you know, there are two other Eanes individuals interred at Elmwood Cemetery. I was not sure if they were related to John & Sipporia Eanes, but I looked for their headstones when I was there. I photographed the one for Omega Eanes, set up a memorial page for her, and already tranferred it to you. But, I could not locate the headstone for Josephine Eanes (Block 6th A E, Lot 21, Space 11). She does not have a memorial page yet, and I did not add one for her. I did locate a few of the headstones that should be in the same plot as Josephine, but did not see hers. I am wondering if her grave is unmarked. The grave locations in this section are noticeable, even if there is no headstone, because they have mounds of soil that are topped with thick ivy. There were several ivy mounds in the plot area where she should be, but many of these did not have a headstone.

RE: Philip M Foster pic
Your welcome for the pic. I didn't see a memorial for his wife, Hattie (1902-1982), on find-a-grave, but if you want to make one, I have a pic for that one as well. There was one headstone with a couple more Fosters next to Philip and Hattie, but I didn't see a memorial for them either. I also got pics in case they were related. Do you know them?
