Hello Mr. White,
I wanted to thank you for posting of Elmer & Mary C Gattis cemetery markers. Finding them has been a great help to link Mary C to my Britton family.
You mention research in Madison County, IL. I am from this area, if I might be of help here, please let me know.

|Connie Sims||Hampton White Family|
Thanks for your response about the photo of Hampton and Susan Wakefield White. The cemetery was not easy to find and it took two trips to find it. Since I am from California and not all that familiar to the area, that made it more difficult. I believe I have quite a few more photos to add from that cemetery, as I tried to take them all, even though some were not legibile. I have a lot of Hargis(s) family in that area so visit as many cemeteries as I can manage.Nancy Parker Wakefield's father, James Parker and my gr gr gr grandfather have a dna match that makes me believe they were brothers so hence my interest . The Wakefield family were and still are very big in Macon and Smith counties in Tennessee. I visit there every year and sometimes come through Missouri on my way.

Jerry with your permission I will copy and use the photo of Hampton and Susan Wakefield White to put on a Parker Website with gravesite photos I have taken of the Whites. Susan Wakefield White's mother was Nancy Parker Wakefield, daughter of James and Sarah Parker. James and Sarah died in Henry County, Tennessee.
I will copy the photo and make sure you get the credit.
Thank you for being generous.

There were also other Conwell stones in the direct area where the others were taken. If you would like copies of them, I will go back this weekend and get them for you.

|Larry||RE: Joseph Pitchford Memorial|
My source used for Joseph & Kathryn Pitchford came from a cemetery lisitng provided by a person named Pat Lehto who walked the cemetery in 2004 and recorded the names on the gravestones of those buried there. Apparently Pat saw the markers! I would think it is the correct cemetery as there appears to be an eye witness account. Of courseyou have heard the expression, "don't believe your lying eyes!"
Is Kathryn Reno Pitchford listed as being buried in the other cemetery also? I will gladly delete my entry if in error. Alas, I live in Minneapolis and am not near Lake of the Woods to personally check this out.
Good luck as you are now designated Findagrave Detective #1.
