RE: John Wales
I noticed your discussion regarding the duplicate site and that the person who created it was now deceased. Usually 1st memorial takes precedence. In your case, since you are direct family, you should be able to ask find-a-grave to remove the other memorial or transfer it to you. Duplicate memorials create problems, especially in the future when we may be long gone, for who may have some other information to contribute.
Good luck with your family searches.

Find-a-grave will make corrections/add information via the edit function. Or you can contact them at "edit@findagrave.com Sometimes not as quick as you might like but usually within the 1 month time. Edit@ is the only way to get changes to the bio done for inactive or deceased contributor's memorials.

Rev. Dr. Mary
RE: John Wales, Christ Church Union cemetery
Thank you too, Aimee. I see your name all over the place. I hope you weren't offended by the duplicate notice. I try to be responsible when I come across them, but some people are really nasty about my info. I had one person who privately e-mailed me saying they thought I was ignorant. I forwarded that e-mail to Find a Grave and they told me they appreciate those kind of helpful notices. I thank you for being one of the nice people!

What picture are you referring to? I can see your message but not the picture. Are you referring to a photo on findagrave or on some other site? I will be happy to correct whichever it is! My personal e-mail is joanncos@comcast.net

Lewis R. Grear
Coincidentally, Lewis R. Grear was in the 213th PA with another ancestor of mine, Thomas Wheeler Sandy, my 3rd Great Grandfather. A very small world, even 150 years ago!

Hello Aimee, the source is posted above, Lewis R. Great is listed right above my 3rd great grandfather Edward Sylvester Clewell (Claywell). I just visited my ancestor's grave which is how I came to search for the rest of the members of company B of the 174th PA, and discovered your memorial page for Grear.

Thank you,

Ryan R. Sandy

Sorry Aimee. I see that Richard Roberts added on to your original memorial for Hannah. I will write to him and mention it must be a wrong connection.

Thanks for your time and work on these entries.
Happy Holidays.

RE: Karolina Swiezewski
Hello Aimee, I have confirmation that Karolina Olbrat-Swierzewski is buried at St. Isidore's Catholic Cemetery. She is buried in Section H, No. 20 (old). Not sure if there is a headstone though. At one point I had emailed the church and was emailed back with the location in the cemetery. Possibly another Swierzewski?

Grave Photo
Dear Aimee,

Thanks so much for adding the photos of Alexander Keegan's grave. I appreciate it as it makes a great addition to his memorial. I like the way you were able to capture the notation that he lost his life on the Squalus. If you have any extra photos of the whole tombstone, would you mind sending me one directly? Again, thanks for your help!

Best regards,
David Pike

RE: deletion of duplicates
Yes, I'm referring to the ones you transferred to me. Find A Grave always goes with the older or first created regardless of amount of info. I hope to have the originals transferred but the duplicates have to be deleted first. Thanks.

deletion of duplicates
I have been asked to delete two memorials because they are duplicates. I cannot do so because only the original creator can do that. Would you please delete Jonas Frankenfield Hillpot, # 37516657 and Mary Ann Ziegenfuss Hillpot, # 37517153? Thank you very much.
