Mae Golda Tims Henley. Memorial.
Hi Frances,

You've done an " Outstanding Workup Collection " Memorial's
On the Tims and Henley families.

You also contributed in your time by taking the headstone pictures attached, linked to their memorials. Mae Golda Tims Henley passed 31 Oct 2016 age 92. Her headstone picture you took is linked to her husband but a Cody Blue... did her Memorial. To give you due credit for the headstone before someone could copy-paste your headstone picture, I wanted you to know of her passing.

My Guy and Barnes family members lived in Jackson Madison County Tennessee long before my birth. But, we visited them at the Hollywood Cemetery. Plus, related families along the way, I did not know of until the Genealogy Addiction.

I hope you do not mind me advising you of her passing.

Thank You in all that you Contribute to Helping Myself and Other's here on Find a Grave. B

Hi Patricia,

I think one of the graves you have in Jackson, TN is my husband's grandmother. Most of his father's family has passed so we aren't sure but the dates and location are right. do you know anything more about George Anne? Her husband would Have been Joe Arthur Alexander and their son was Joe Jr. Thanks.

Leonard Allen Pillow
Hi Frances, you have the memorial for Leonard Allen Pillow in Double Springs Cem. #63366385, he is the baby brother to my children's paternal gr.mother, Robbie Laverne Pillow Moore. She recently died in Memphis and her son had her body donated to science which was devastating to my children but they had no say in the matter. So I've made a memorial on Find A Grave for their gr.mt. Laverne Pillow Moore # 79917082 and also for her parents Allen Monroe Pillow #79915679 and Lillie Blackburn Pillow #79915895 also buried in Double Springs. So can you transfer Leonard to me or if not, please link Leonard to his Pillow parents, many thanks, Kay. #47503052

More Information

Shady Grove Church is located on Shady Grove Road about 12 miles south of Jackson and about 2 miles east of Mercer. It is fenced and well cared for. It really lives up to its name because as you enter the gate you step into a shady grove of large cedar trees.

Frances,
Is it possible to merge memorials? Clay Barnes per the obit, and Henry Clayburn Barron Barnes memorial for Hope Hill Cemetery, between Milan and Medina in the Arsenal environs, Gibson, Tennessee, USA are the same individuals.
Thank you for your acts of service per our kindred deceased.

Carol Adams Rowlands Hays
RE: Sarah Hays Steele
Sorry to say, that I don't have anything on the Steele family and more than likely, won't be doing research on them.
Sarah Hays was married to an Edwin Rogers before her marriage to Mr. Steele. Her children are by Mr. Rogers. She didn't marry Mr. Steele until she was 50 years old, so there is no ancestral trail with Mr. Steele.

Sarah Hays Steele
Good morning:
Thanks for transferring Sarah to me. I'm updating the Hays group like crazy. Today I've updated Sarah's father, Stokely Donelson Hays, and have added a photo. Sarah's grandfather and Stokely's father was Richard Jackson Hays, the first mayor of Jackson, Tennessee. (almost all of the Hayses are in Riverside).
I've got albums, loose photos and lots of papers on my husband's family and will continue to update. What a task....but rewarding.
I might have mentioned, "it's fun adding some meat to these old bones". (not being disrespectful, but rather bringing some of them to life learning about them).
Have a good day.
