Hi Braden! I was requesting a photo from Eight Mile Cemetery in Arkansas and saw your request of Mary Washburn right above my request. Let me know if you get someone to photo her grave, as I requested that same photo a while ago and it was never fulfilled. Thanks!

I like the memorial you established for my grand mother Bertha Mae Ellison Cook, who married Robert Kates Cook.
It would be great to collaborate with you on building their memorials as I have info to add. I can send the info to you to be added, or we can some how manage their memorials together if you want.
Also, I'd like to get some emails going with you to discuss our family genealogy.
Have a great day,
Robert Cook Awalt (son of Thomas Mathew Cook)

Thats not lazy just depends on how bad you want the information. I am plotting my day out for tomorrow and was going to grab Elmore City till I seen you lived there. I live in OKC and usually make a day out of my grave hunting. I prefer to not go to places where people reside in the same town. I rather help the ones that have no access or are out of state...get your butt to the cemetery! :)

Just curious, why do you have photo requests for Elmore City when you live there?

Hi Braden, I THOUGHT I answered you, but don't see it on your page now. My Harmons came from Arkansas and before that from Tennessee.
But I found your Family Tree online, and you have my great-grandfather, John Beal McCaskill, in your tree :)
What's your connection to him?

I noticed that you have added three memorials to East Mountain Cemetery. Agatha and Sampson Gounah and Lucille Gounah Smith.
I am writing this to let you know that there are two cemeteries in East Mountain and memorials already exist for Agatha and Sam Gounah. They are buried in "Old East Mountain Cemetery." The other cemetery in East Mountain is"East Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery."
I have surveyed both cemeteries and all headstones are photographed either by myself or someone else. I have not seen a headstone for Ms Smith, it is, either unmarked or the name is missing, which happens often.
I appreciate your hard work and for adding the obituaries but, to keep confusion down and make it more efficient for people to locate their loved ones, I am asking for the contributors to "East Mountain Cemetery" to delete the duplicate memorials.
If these people are relatives I am sure you can contact the Caretakers of the meorials to add the obits or transfer them to your account. I happen to have been in correspondence with Agatha and Sam's granddaughter lately.
Thanks again and I hope I don't sound too presumptuous.

I added the memorials and posted all of the pictures. There are many other graves in that cemetery, but those were all of the Cassells we could read and some of those were difficult.
I can transfer any or all of those memorials to you. Just let me know which ones.

We visited the Hinchey Cemetery. There are several Cassells there including some more John Cassells. One stone for John and Elizabeth Cassell is about the right age to be John Cassell's parents. I will post these later today.
We also found a Johnnie Cassell who was born in 1889 in the Canaan Cemetery. I will post that later today also.

I've been with Find-a-Grave since its early days, when the site was exclusively about Famous and historic burials, not genealogy. I photograph and write about very old gravestones and cemeteries for the general reader, and although I've done numerous "Famous" bios, the ordinary people of history are important, too, so I've tried to document their graves whenever possible. I've come across numerous Condits in old colonial burial grounds in the Northeast, but to the best of my knowledge I'm not related.
