Hello! I just wanted to let you know I've added a signed "official US Naval photograph" to HS Matthews. My father was his orderly for a period in the Vietnam conflict and worked quite closely with him. Take care!

There is an infant daughter listed on the stone for Addie, Homer and Helen.
You can add her. Let me know and I will add the photo.
Also, the maiden name is Congleton, Addie is buried beside several Congletons.

John L. Cooper
Would you know names of the parents for your John L. Cooper? I have been trying for years to find out what happened to my John L. Cooper who was the son of Christopher Columbus Cooper and Elizabeth Jane Burton. Your John would be about the right age. I am hoping to find a male descendant of CC Cooper's son John L. Cooper to do a yDNA test to prove he is indeed the son of CC and Elizabeth Jane Burton. Would you know of someone in the family that would be willing to do the test. I would pay for the testing kit.

RE: Dewdrop Simmons
Thank you so much for all the extra help. I too have ancestry. Just did not pursue this young woman as much as you did. As for the folks of color not buried in Sikeston Cemetery. Well Hazelwood had in years past when there was segregation an area called South Hazelwood Cemetery. It is not a separate cemetery as someone reading some of the death certifcates may think, but was a designated area for the black community. They do not have that segregated area any longer. People just purchase lots by the available spaces. I added the parents as well to the cemetery. I would not have known that Smith Cemetery would be the same without the AKA's. Appreciated all of your work on this. Added it to the information on her page but did not use your name only said a findagrave member. I requested photos for her and parents. So very nice of you to go the extra miles.

No, just an admirer of his photographic work; I have some of his cabinet cards/cdv's, and like to know something about the photographer. That brought me, eventually, to this site. I have done this for a few other photographers, and folks, who have drawn my attention.

Hi there! You and I corresponded briefly a few years ago but for some reason I never got notification of the note you'd left on Aunt Sis's memorial here. Thank you so much for sharing all that. :) I just read it and have a couple corrections to send you.
