Thanks so much for transferring my gg-grandfather's memorial to me! And thank you for all you do on FindaGrave. It means a lot to the families of those you memorialize.

Sarah Skinner
Ugh, now I really DO feel like a dope. Sarah Skinner WAS the wife of Alfred Brown, buried in Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha, WI. Please link her to Alfred Brown, memorial 52615259.

I'm so sorry for such a mess.

Sarah Skinner
I just sent an edit request to link Sarah to a husband. I realized afterward that I had the wrong Sarah Skinner. Please disregard the request to link to Alfred Brown. Sorry for the mistake.

Julietta (Weber) Rodewald
I just posted Otto P & Esther D Weber to Belcrest and was looking to link with other family if possible.
I noticed that in Julietta's bio, you state she was born to Mr. & Mrs. H L Weber however she is linked to Peter Weber as her father.
Is there an AKA or nickname involved that is not stated?

I am not related - I am just asking for clarification.

RE: William Stollenwerk
Thanks so much! Now I'll just need to do more research to prove them related.
Good luck with your research,

William Stollenwerk
My 3rd Great grandmother, Catherine (nee. Stollenwerk) Schroeder was born in 1820 in Germany, and died in 1895 in Caledonia, Racine Co., Wisconsin. She was married to William Schroeder. The only hint I have to who her parents were or where she came from in Germany, was that in her husband's obituary, it said that attending his funeral would be "Mrs. Stollenwerk and daughters of Fond du Lac." I have a hunch that, William Stollenwerk, born 1823, was Catherine's brother and Mary Anne Stollenwerk, born c. 1791 was Catherine's mother. William Stollenwerk had already passed away by the time William Schroeder had died, so it would make sense that a woman, "Mrs. Stollenwerk," Catherine's sister-in-law would come instead of her brother. I am also aware that William Stollenwerk had multiple daughters. I have not been able to find other Stollenwerk families in Fond du Lac, however there were some in the old Town of Lake. I was wondering what information you have on William Stollenwerk and his ancestors.

Earl Pagel
Thank You!
I greatly appreciate the transfer of Friedrick and Johanna Pagel and have now linked them to their ancestors. I thought we had relatives in Iowa, but now have the proof, and will continue to research our earliest in Pommern, Prussia.

RE: Krebsbach Family
Hi Diane,
Yes, my dad's sister, Dorothy Mannenbach, married Aloysius Krebsbach so their kids are my first cousins.
Do you happen to know if Gregor Krebsbach, memorial #68613040, is buried with his wife? There is a Joan S. Krebsbach, memorial #68613046, on the same headstone. I assume she is his wife but I suppose she could be his sister. The two are not linked as spouses.

Krebsbach Family
Hi Diane,
Thanks so much for the large amount of work you did on the Krebsbach family and for correcting the date of death for Edward. I assume you were also responsible for requesting the links of the children to the parents by others. Thanks again.

J. Jacobson
Osage Cemetery
I am interested in a number of your photos from this cemetery....the Krogstad family and their various married children's families. I would love to be able to use your findagrave pictures online at Please let me know whether or not I have your permission to do so; I would of course give the photo credit it you! If you would like a definitive list of each photo I would like to use, I would be happy to do so - just let me know. There were a number of them so I didn't want to do it here.

Thanks for your volunteer work, and for getting back to me. Appreciate it.

You sent an edit (which we approved) for Nora Fitzgerald #132419872, in St. Mary's, Alvord. Would you like us to transfer the management to you?

The parents for George Van Acken have the mother's name for both father and mother. Could you check into that? Thanks so much. Also, I have sent an edit to put a space between Van and Acken for both George and Anna. Thanks for all your research work. It's amazing.

Agatha Lens Johnson
We are visiting family in the Sioux Falls area (we live in Australia) and have been stopping at cemeteries to take photos for Find A Grave. No doubt, you have already received several requests for edits from us. We had a heck of a time finding Agatha in Holy Name. She is buried with Mr.Lens, not Mr.Johnson, her last husband. I think Lens should be some where in her name on Find A Grave, but I realise that she has quite a few names as it is.

I have been admiring all of your work that you put into your memorials. Hope you don't mind that we have added some photos to some of your memorials.

Rev. John Harmon Pippert
I wanted to thank you for all the time and information you have put into the Pippert family memorials. Flossie Pippert Schubert, Rev. Pippert's granddaughter, was my great-grandma. Do you know if Rev. Pippert was related to the Pipperts in Lawrence, Kansas? I'm trying to do a genealogy on my mom's family.
