|Kathy Sutton Diaz||Wavey Carpenter|
Hi Toni, just wanted to let you know about an error here. It shows Wavey Carpenter as a daughter of Zachariah and Amelia Carpenter-- saying they had 14 children. They did not. There were 13-- Wavey is not one of them. This is my direct line and I have the original family tree drawn by Hazel Carpenter( one of their youngest children).
Thank you , Kathy

I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am working on a project to identify the last resting places of many of our "old soldiers" that had roots/ties to Vermont. I have noticed that you have contributed photo's of monuments/markers to at least three such patriots in Mitchell County. Would you allow me to use these photo's to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

|Mac Ramsey||Lavada Ramsey|
The Find A Grave web site is acting crazy this morning. Lavada Ramsey Baker is my husband's aunt. She and her husband Everette Baker lived in Morganton, Valdese, NC. She and her husband are buried in the home church cemetery. Enon Baptist Church. We had a family reunion last Sat. Aug. 20, 2016 at Enon Church fellowship hall however none of their children attended. The family still lives in the area and if you will send me your email address I will send it to them.
Kindly, M.A. Ramsey

I thank you for the photo of the stone for the Irish's in Elmwood Cemetery. Is there any way you could see if you could get a clearer photo of the stone? I'm trying to piece some things together and it would be helpful.
Thank you, Patty

Toni, I belong to The Sons of The American Revolution and we are in the process of restoring the graves of four Patriots that fought in the American Revolution and are buried in the Carpenter-Koontz Cemetery. This Cemetery has been heavily vandalized. 99% of the headstones are non existent. I have found a partial stone with a name of Emanuel Carpenter on it but not sure if it's
SR or JR as it is heavily worn. There is a stone that was next to it which might be Mary Carpenter but it is even harder to make out who it is. Both stones were buried. If I/we can find any part Mrs. Mary's stone I will post it. Gunny in Ohio

Toni, the folks at Mt. Moriah on Holmes couldn't find her in their records. There are actually 2 Mt. Moriah's in KC, so you might check with the other one. Are you sure of the spelling?

I am a Boyer and see that you have info regarding Peter & Maria Catherine Boyer. Can you tell me where you fit in/who you are descended from? Peter & Maria were my 4 greats grandparents--descended from Peter Boyer Jr and then William Rufus down to Lenard and Earl and then Karl.

I'm not, but I saw their son Lyle's name on a list of unclaimed cremated remains that will be interred in a mass grave in about a month. Was hoping to connect with a family member that might be able to return him to Kansas for burial.

I too am documenting the cemeteries around me. So many are falling into ruin and names are being lost. No one should be forgotten.
I have two photo requests for the Hill cemetery. You are the only one who has submitted here. I was hoping you could help me to locate it. I have tried the internet and friends with no luck. Any help you can give would be appreciated.
