Dee family
Thank you for all the wonderful information on the Dee family! Roy Dee was my grandfather, and I have many fond memories of him. I see that he and my grandmother Sue Dee are linked to Gardiner and Vina Dee. There are a few other Dees in Parkview cemetery that can be linked too. Three of their children: Bernice, 136258998; Franklin, 136262015; Jessie, 136259023; and their grandson Ralph, 19962388. It would be nice to see their family reunited.

Hello,

William Cook was the father -in law of John Franklin Newcomb. William Cook and Cynthia Jane Dee Cook's daughter Dianna Cook Newcomb married John Franklin Newcomb. John Franklin Newcomb is my great grand uncle. John Franklin Newcomb's brother George A. Newcomb was my great grandfather.

On 17 Aug 2014, my husband and I visited the Cook Cemetery while we were in Illinois doing research on my paternal ancestors. We went several times to this cemetery as well as well as 5 other cemeteries. In Hancock and Cole Counties. We are both Volunteer photographers for Find A Gave.

I did add William Cook's memorial and 3 photos to Find A Grave site. You do have correct death date for William Cook. His daughter Dianna Cook married John Franklin 13 Feb 1856 in Clark County, Missouri. My research state that both she and her her husband died young and several of their children were then raised by her mother Cynthia Jane Dee Cook, wife of William Cook (the children's maternal grandmother.) It is my belief that Cynthia Jane Dee is buried at the Cook Cemetery, too. I did locate and photograph her father Jeremiah Dee's headstone near Dianna Cook's burial site..

Do know the Cook lineage?

Thank you for your attention to details. Dianna Cook Newcomb was 34 not 24 as I had written. Appreciate the photos.

Thanks
Teresa,

You took photos of the Frey family headstones. There were three babies I would have never known about for my family tree if you hadn't taken the photo of their headstone. You ROCK!! #72718230

Babies get left out and it breaks my heart and to be able to find the children on this site warms my heart. Thanks for all of your work!

There is a transcription error on 41212913 for Lilly May Carpenter Longor. She died in 1918 not 1901. The gravemarker on the same page shows the correct date, but not the write-up. Would you mind correcting the record. Thank you very much, Sallie Wald.

photo request
Teresa,

Would it be alright if I copy your Old Brick Cemetery - Middle Creek Cemetery photo and add it to my ancestry tree? I feel I need to always ask permission.

May I also copy any other photos you have on findagrave?

Thank you so much for all of your work. I do a lot of family history and findagrave makes it even more interesting and fun.

Thanks,
Susie Webber Lewis

I have found the obituary for Chris Miller who is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery. I noticed he doesn't have one on his page. I would be happy to email my copy to you, if you would like to enter it.

Please let me know.

Julia Collins Burkholder Major Kelly
Can I impose upon you to go through Greenwood and look for this stone? She is listed in Find A Grave under Major (and we have her photo request out there for so long!) but you had shown us a book that stated she married a Mr. Kelly. I have not been able to locate a phone number for the cemetery or I would call for information. We have conflicting death years of 1923 or 1944.

Thank you so much for any help you can give us.

PS. I'm Jeff Huntoon's sister!
