|Harriet Darling||Jacob Dick|
Is it possible that your GGgrandfather, Jacob Dick, was the son of Michael Dick & came to this country from Germany with his father & siblings: Nicholas, Michael & Christiana?
I have such a family in my background who arrived in USA 1855-1837. They lived in Onondaga County when they first arrived. Later they lived in West Monroe, Oswego County. The Jacob Dick I seek was the brother of my GGgrandfather, Nicholas Dick.
Does this ring any bells with you?

We have walked Oakland Cemetery in Manchester, Iowa many times and have not come across this headstone.
There are a few Anderson's, but not this one that we can find.

You're very welcome. I was determined to find it because it should be easy to spot among the hundred+ year old graves, but apparently it's not there. I will keep her name on my search list and when more leaves have cleared I'll check again. I don't give up that easy. But this one was nowhere to be found the day I checked. Glad to help in any way I can.

Hi there Cuz, even though Dolgeville Cemetery is pretty large, I'm pretty sure I might know where they're located. If you want to put in a photo request, I'll try to find them.
Also, if you know where Gramps Clarence lived in Stratford, I'll take some pics for you. I don't know if Stratford census records gave streets or not. We don't have many streets here!
And, thank you for your kind words -- you're just the sweetest!

Gail -They are linked up and fixed up! All additions and corrections are gratefully received. I'm on my way over to Stratford Cemetery now. I've gotten more than half of it photographed. Hope to finish before the snow flies!

|Donna Hasbrouck||RE: Transfer ?|
I'd be happy to transfer management. Would you use the transfer tab, please, as I can't remember where they're buried. I was over to Curtis cemetery in Salisbury yesterday and added a couple more Boyers. I see you have management of Terry Boyer. His brother and Mom are dear friends of mine. I'll have to get a photo for Terry next time I'm over there. His Mom, Beatrice,(still living) and his Dad, Norman, passed in 2006. I'll send you an "edit" to link them.

Hi Gail-- The DOD you have on Amos' memorial is the DOD on Lucy's (his wife)stone. The DOD on Amos's stone is Sep 5, 1860. I'll dig out the photo file and add it. I'm out of state right now, but will follow through when I get back to Stratford.

I so agree!! I just read your bio for Findagrave, and the whole thing is great, but the last paragraph is wonderful. Says it all, so well.
Oh, I see that someone found Eli Boyer, at Union Cemetery in Monroe County, Mo. I have been there LOTS of times, and did not see his stone. The cemetery is getting grown up in weeds, now, though. Was glad to know where he was buried. I guess he and Hiram were the only ones who came to Mo. in the Boyer family.

Wow, that is fantastic about Yevette!
And thanks for permission to use your pics. I think once they are posted, anyone may use mine.
Hugs right back to you,

Hope all is well with you and your family. Was so surprised to find pics of tombstones for Henry Robert and Mary Boyer, on findagrave. I wonder if I may use your beautiful pics on our family tree?
If I find more, may I use them as well. Haven't really looked, was so excited to find them.
Thanks so much for adding them to findagrave.

|Janice (O'Bryan) Byington||RE: Hello from Utah too|
In my Find A Grave Contributor area I have a virtual Byington cemetery you may be interested in. A few of the Byington clan decided we needed to try to link the families and flesh out the memorials as best as we could. This is my husband's and children's line, so I volunteered to help out. You may be familiar with my hubby's mother, Fay Byington. she wrote several family histories.

I can't really take credit for that. Most of the information for that memorial was supplied to me by Diane Turner http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=mr&MRid=46622280

Hiram Boyer's photo, Curtis Cemetery, was requested by Sunshine308, but I see he's maintained by you. She is a Stratford native and no doubt your cousin. She has a lot of "first hand" family history that I know she'd love to share with you if you're so inclined. She's a great gal.
Happy to learn that Amos Satterley is a hit! Do you have English immigrant William Satterly (1632-1687) in your line?
It's always an honor and pleasure to fulfill photo requests, so you are more than welcome.

Hi Gail-- I looked for your Amos stone by stone in Dibble-Tuttle Cemetery, Salisbury Center, NY with no results. I found Amos Satterly, but not Satterlee. Sorry. I'll still keep any eye out when ever I return.

Hi Gail - Knowing how proud you are of Jared's "nail head" accomplishments, thought you'd be interested in knowing that Jared and Hannah (75447438 & 75447438)are buried in Salisbury (Rural) Cemetery. If you have a photo request, I'll be going over there when the weather clears up and if the dreadful black flies are not too hungry!
