Dear Duane, I have spent the last 13 years restoring Shabbona Grove Cemetery outside of Shabbona IL. and I'm happy to report it's 99% complete. Now that I'm retired and past the age where I should be wrasseling gravestones I have started putting photos of all of them on Find A Grave. My problem is as I go thru the find a grave entries I have found others have " added " people to the cemetery that aren't buried there ! Nice photos of gravestones only I know those folks are not in the cemetery I was involved in restoring ! So now I have to find out where those folks belong ! One couple that has shown up is Ernest and Florence Beschorner. I used ancestry.com to locate people with an interest in them and your name and e mail popped up.
Do you know for a certainty where they are buried ? If you do could you be so kind as to help me out ? Thanks so much . Jim Stewart Shabbona IL.

No, no relation ... I just live close to Bluff City Cemetery and Lakewood Memorial in Elgin and enjoy taking pictures of the headstones. If I had an unlimited data plan I'd be able to look them up while I was walking around the cemetery to see if they were already in Find A Grave ... lol ... would save me a lot of time, I suppose! My parents and daughter are buried at Lakewood but I find the headstones at Bluff City much easier to photograph (since they usually aren't half buried under the grass!) I spent over 30 minutes the other day "uncovering" 2 grave sites that had photo requests so I could take the pictures. I was amazed I was even able to locate them.

Noticed on one of your reported photo problems that you were documenting Crown Hill cemetery. I've just started mowing the rows taking photos and have 2/3 finished section 11. I would like to coordinate this with you so we aren't duplicating ourselves. If you have completed any section(s) please let me know.

I noticed that his birth and death dates are not there in Bluff Cemetery only the years of birth and death, I am able to provide that for this site. He was born in Cohoes, New York on June 1,1872 and died December 31, 1927 in Boone County, IL. in the chiropractor's office about pain in neck. They don't know what happened in that chair but there was an inquiry about his death. His middle name was Maurice and his son was Harry Maurice Davenport buried at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis, MO under the name of Hal Davenport/ Hal, my grandfather and Wesley my Great grandfather. Please add this to his memorial. He is buried with second wife Marie, tombstone says she was born 1878-1836. They had no children. I see her name on his headstone but have not found their marriage certificate after my grandmother passed . Wesley's first wife was Hattie E. Rolfe who died in Harlingen TX, in a kitchen fire that my grandfather Harry "Hal" tried to save her by wrapping her in a rug but could not save her.
Thank you for all the work you have done for so many families. You are appreciated.

I was out there (Bluff City Cemetery) yesterday to take pictures of the gravestones. I couldn't find them. My connection is with the Brayman part of the family. Mary's father was my great great grandmother's (Mary Brayman Tyrrell) brother.

Carol, When you go thru main gate at Woodlawn you are headed South not North. I must have had a senior moment.

|julia kinzer||RE: Jo Lynn's|
It is in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore. It won't be on the board at the cemetery. It is in the Driver Addition Block 3 Lot 20 space 3Wl/2
When you go thru the main gate you are headed No.
stay on that road until the last section and it is in the center of that last section to your right.
I have some of her ashes in a pretty little urn that will be buried in my casket when I pass.
I can accept her passing because of her suffering but I'm having a hard time accepting the fact that she is gone.
