|Anonymous||RE: Bainter Cemetery|
Thank you, Stephanie.....I did not have the photo of Mary Ann Buker Bainter's tomb.....she was the first wife of Alpha Elisha BUKER and my direct line.
RE: Bainter cemetery....in my family book, it states that Bainter cemetery is near Dresden, OHIO.....from the Methodist church on Main Street you turn toward the Muskingum River (on Muskingum Avenue), crossing the new bridge and then turn right St Rte 666(going away from Adamsville). The cemetery is suppossed to be at the top of a hill, on a private farm, within a short distance. My Dad drove a school bus route over this road for years....he was the Industrial Arts teacher at Jefferson High School....now torn down and a new Tri Valley H.S. has been build across the street from it.
My husband and I traveled up and down this segment of road a few years ago and found not place where there could have been a cemetery (visable from the road).....
You might contact Doug Kreis at the Zanesville Genealogy center in the John McIntyre building in Zanesville; he 'might' have the answer....I believe that I already asked this question of him in the past though.
Hope you locate it......I still would like a photo of the tombstones.

|DJK||RE: Richard F. Hammond|
I sent you a private email but I may have copied the email address wrong so I'll try again.
Richard Hammond is my GGG Grandfather. I have his Civil War records and the "March to the Sea" info comes from the movements of his infantry and the times that they were at each place.
Is your step-aunt my cousin? How exciting if she is. I have a lot of Hammond info. Richard was my Great Grandmother's Grandfather. I knew her well and she told me a few things about him. That is one reason I knew to look for his Civil War records.
I am a member of the DUVCW (Daughters of Union Veterans Civil War) through my relationship to Richard.
Thank you for contacting me.

Mary was indeed William and Mary's daughter. I had to double check to be sure; I only knew the name Alta. I had come into contact with a descendant of William D.'s father (who was the brother of my own 2-greats gndfather)several years ago. Alta Snow never married and was a genealogy nut (like me)and had provided a lot of research on the family.

I think I know who she is but let me check and I will let you know is soon as I can. Is she in the same plot as William D. and his sons?

I quickly added the Baer names and will add more later. Placed the Pholo request, too.
Should I enter a memorial for Bessie Harvey?

Would you like for me to enter the other Baer memorials? I imagine they are Eli's family. I am working on the Essex line and Angie was Angie Essex Baer. Let me know if you would want me to do the entries. Roberta

Frederick Bainter married into the Crumbaker family. That is part of my husband's family. Do you know who is parents are?
Feel free to leave a memorial.

I've transferred the memorials in Oneida Cemetery to you so you can add the obituaries and personalize them.
If you have any questions, please email me at the email address in my mom's biography.
