Godfrey Bainter
Godfrey Bainter is my 4th great-grandfather through the Peter Cranston Bainter line. I live about 30 miles from La Harpe, IL where both Peter Bainter and Peter Cranston Bainter have family buried and about 11 miles from Stronghurst where Peter Cranston and his wife are buried. Their home is still standing and about 5 miles south of Stronghurst. Thank you for posting the information about Godfrey.

Dianne
Bainter Cemetery
Hello Stephany:
I'm the one who left the problem message on your request for Bainter Cemetery - after diligent searching, I found it. I also looked at it on the county auditor's website. Even tho' it's amid private farm land, there is a cemetery-owned direct lane back to the cemetery. When I'm on that side of the river I'll see what I can get for you there. It may be a while - due to illness, I cannot go outdoors in excessive heat situations. I'll get you sooner or later. Just finding the cemetery was a triumph! GPS: 40.0933N 081.989W, North River Road between Miller Farms of Dresden and Mollies Rock Road in Madison Township. If you go to www.mapper.acme.com you can do a search with coordinates and look at it on satellite or on an old topographical map, etc.

Picture for Alex Jones
Stephany -

Thank you so very much for the picture of Alex Jones' headstone. And to do so in such hot weather is an extra special thank you. Alex is a gr gr uncle and it has been a little difficult to find out much about this Jones family. But you've given me one more thing.

Again, thank you so much, Stephany.

RE: Tessie Ruth Marsh
Hi Steph :) Thank you so much for posting those pictures. Your work is truly appreciated! I dont have obits for any of the Marsh's that you took pictures of. I guess you already have the dates :) So if you could take a look, no hurry, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much for your help!!

Rosetta was the step-daughter of My great grandmother's brother, Joseph Reed Morris. Joseph raised Rosetta, when he married her mother, Martha Larimer Ross Morris. Joseph and Martha are buried in Lucas County, Iowa, where most of Joseph's family died.

I have a picture of the Marsh family but am not sure if it is Theo's dad, or Theo's family. I will do some checking and hopefully can post that too, on the memorials. God Bless :) Bonnie

Shonda Sayers Feather
RE: Lineage
I do use Ancestry.com. But my tree is private as I keep living people in it. I will be glad to share whatever I have that you may need. Also, I only keep my direct line of descent online (without adding uncles, aunts, cousins), but do have the Family Tree software program where I have all members of the family and Family Group sheets are easier to generate. Let me know what you are looking for.

RE: Roseann Shrigley (#26663436)
Hi Stephany,

Roseann Shrigley is a distant first cousin. Her father was my 4th great grand uncle. I descend from her father's brother, William. I have transferred her memorial to you so you may keep the Bainter's together. Good luck with your research!
