|Geneakam||my ggggrandmother Martha Stout(p) Romine|
Hello Nando from Canada,
I am wondering what is your source for Martha being buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, as there is no gravestone? My gggrandmother was Hannah Romine (1831-1919), so your gggrandfather Alfred is my gggranduncle.
Besides the 1840 & 1850 Censuses, Muskingum Co., Ohio, have you ever found any other evidence for our ggggrandfather Jacob Romine? I did visit Zanesville's record office last yr, & found a few records there on the Romine family, but not on Martha & Jacob. The 1860 census states Martha as a widow. Because I was short of time, I was unable to visit the cemeteries. I have the oldest son as Jesse Romine b. 1812 , Martha & Jacob's possible marriage date. But I have no birthdate for son David Romine. Could you point me to any info there?
I'm grateful for any info you can share.
Thanks so much in advance,

You are very welcome. I am glad I was able to help.

Sorry for the very late reply on your requests. Due to lack of time and so many requests it is hard to complete them all in a timely basis. Also I have been off line for a very long time due to personal reasons.
Per your request I have added a photo of Howell Carson's grave marker to his memorial.

I don't remember if you were connected to Andrew & Anna (Johnston) Law in Pawnee City, NE cemetery, but I found an obit for Anna & added it, was able to find her sons to have them linked. :) Luella

I checked back through all the photos of Herman's family and checked the ones I already sent you and they were all same ones. So I'm sure that is all Herman had of Etta's photos. I'll keep in touch with you. So happy you enjoyed the photos! Carla :):)

Thank you! I didn't know John's middle name was William and I never could confirm that Delia's actual name was Cordelia. I have gotten help with a non profit to get Delia a proper headstone to go with the numbered one she has now. They did that often at State or Insane Asylums as they were called then and the people just got a marble block with a number. It has taken me almost a year to get this done. I will share the event with you when it comes around. They will have a ceremony and take photos for me as I am unable to attend in Ohio where she is buried. I was meant to do this. :) Sherry

Hey there, we are shirttail relation, remember? I am Great Granddaughter of Odia Heskett Farus. I have a question...My Aunt said Willard Farus was Uncle to Odia, but Odia was born in 1890 and Willard in 1914...wonder if you know more of this side of the Farus family. I can't find much on him at the moment. Just want to put the pieces together. Help? Sherry

I note this is the second time I've asked for your source on Margaret's mother. Sorry to be a nag... - you said my E mail was "blocked" so please write me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I have the church records for this family in PA but nowhere does Sarah's maiden name appear.

Can you please give me your source for the maiden name of Margaret's mother? I have been unable to document this.
Also, Margaret was married twice; first in Perry county to Salem McCoy who died about 1836, and with whom she had two children. Margaret's Grandfather was my ancestor, and I have followed this branch of the family through original records in Pa and Ohio.

|Peace4me||RE: Herman obit|
Your e-mail is not showing. I was just at my mom's tonight and brought a box of photos home to sort out for her. They are mostly all of Herman family. It will take me a few day to go through them and I will let you know what I find. Send me you e-mail and I'll send you that obit. Carla :)

Yes, I have the obit. Do you want me to send it to you? Herman and my mom do have a burial plot out in Mount View not far from his mother's grave, but Herman was cremated, so at this time my mom has his ashes. Carla

You are very welcome. This is my stepfather Herman Romine's mother. Carla

Can you tell me the source for the surname of Margaret's mother Sarah THORLEY? David T. Musselman and his wife Sarah were early Catholic converts in PA and I have seen many early original records. Nowhere did I find that maiden name, so very interested to know your source. Thank you.
Incidentally Margaret was married twice; her first husband was Salem McCoy with whom she had two daughters. Married 29 May 1831 in Perry co Ohio.

|Sherry K||RE: Confused|
I am also confused...I have John E. Farus married to Mary Law they are parents to David Beatty Farus.
BUT, I have her birth as 6-1818 and death 3-12-1900.
The info I just sent is correlating with some of my family in names and in dates...hmmmm Not sure what I am doing here, still new at this. Please correct me if I am wrong, I don't want wrong information posted by me.
