RE: after googling pinky
Hi Amy, I was hoping someone made a memorial for Pinky also. I couldn't remember the flamingo's name. I would do it but I would need a picture and I would have to get someone to add the picture because I don't know how to do these things. I was so upset I cried. My mother always said she didn't like people just animals. I just don't understand what makes some people so mean and evil. I have 2 cats and they are everything to me. I treat them like they are my children. And they have the best of everything. I love them so much. Well take care my friend Diana.

RE: LINCOLN
Hi Amy, You are so very welcome. It was my pleasure to sponsor this sweet baby boy. I will try to do my best to keep his memory alive. I don't understand myself how people can do these things to children and animals. You know they are cowards. Did you hear about the dancing flamingo they had here at Bush Gardens in Florida. A man picked him up shook him and threw him to the ground. Then he laughed. He's facing 5 years in prison and $10,000 in fines. And they say this guy did something like this twice before. It's not enough time in jail. They had to put the flamingo to sleep. Have a nice weekend your friend Diana.

RE: Pulse
Yeah... it's a horrible thing. Coming out is difficult and coming to terms with yourself about being LGBT is even harder, in my opinion (took me 8 years to accept it)... I just wish all the victims rest in peace and know that we won't let them be forgotten.

Hi Amy,

Thank you for featuring Samantha Kuberski on your page. I'm not sure if you know her story, but she's believed to be the youngest person ever to die by suicide :( So sad.

Hope you're having a good weekend.

RE: Pulse
Amy,

Ah, I thought I was the only one in the community on this site! (I'm bi.) Now I know I'm not alone and that means a lot to know- I usually keep my orientation under wraps on here for obvious reasons. And I agree, it was an act of homophobia, plain and simple. So I'm doing what I can within the community to offer support and resources, and what I can here to honor those we lost.

Take care,
Megan

Pulse
Hi Amy, I wanted to thank you for your kindness and offerings to the victims of the Pulse shooting... you're a very kind and strong soul! It means a lot to see someone so devoted to honoring those we lost. I don't know if you knew anyone personally, but if so, I am so, so sorry for your loss. I also wanted you to know that I'm here if you need to talk or anything.

Best,
Megan Street

Another thank you
Hi Amy,

I just had to send another thank you - I saw that you went through three pages of the Sewol victims and left flowers for all of them. I am so utterly humbled and grateful for this beautiful gesture. The Sewol victims are very dear to my heart; they are my #1 FG project right now, and probably will be for a long time, so seeing others like you take the time to leave tokens for these kids (plus teachers and crew members) is just so incredible. I was honestly shocked that none of them were added on FG until I added them...it seems like only Korea is remembering them, so I hope to change that. After everything those kids went through on April 16, 2014, they deserve to be remembered and honored for the rest of time. So, every token is precious...and you left so many. It means more than I can say. Truly, thank you.

I hope your week is filled with light and love.

Fondly,

Zina

Hi Amy,

Thank you so much for visiting my featured memorial for June 2016, Zachary Killinger. He was such a brave young man, fighting a terrible, incurable disease (Batten Disease). It means a lot to me to see him being remembered on here.

Hope you're doing well,

Zina

Find A Grave Memorial# 24724490

I noticed that you have entered a photo which appears to be that of a grave site. Is this a generic tribute photo or do you know of the burial location? She has been entered with an 'unknown' burial location.

Thanks.
