You should contact the cemetery where he is buried for they should have the records of his birth and death.

If you want to try to find out when this occurred, have you tried writing to the Historical Society? They may have records on hand which will indicate when this event happened, and if you do not know, they might be able to tell you where he is buried.

I know. As I say it's obvious (and I do NOT mean that as a criticism) that they are different stones. Two people made the same mistake? Not terribly likely. I'm thinking it was a bad merge.
Oh well, thanks so much for fixing it!

Yes, I left them a message also, but so far they have not responded or removed the photo. I'll send it to photo edit if they don't remove it.
I am wondering if someone had it incorrectly merged. Seems odd that two different contributors would both add the wrong photo. Especially since there is already a photo which you can clearly see is different. So many of these stones are just difficult to photograph and it is difficult to catch a mistake. But this one is pretty obvious. We all make mistakes, but that just seems too odd of a mistake.
Thanks so much for fixing it!

Then this isn't the right guy. The dates are Sept 25, 1931 to Jan 18 1993. I'll remove the photo of this stone. I'm sure this was the only Dave George on the directory. I can look again when I go that direction. You might want to put the photo request back as a reminder.

Hi Suzanne, you can delete a flower from a memorial by double clicking on top of the flower and then click on Delete on the new page. This will remove the message also and then you can leave a fresh flower.

|Nina Beeson||RE: Brummett Cemetery listing Janey Sandlin|
I really don't do anything magic :>))
This research comes from just searching family records online, census records, etc., through lots of time that I get engrossed in our hobby! I have sent messages a couple of times to the creator of these memorial pages asking for link to be made to her parents. Yesterday I submitted another one, this one through Find A Grave. Maybe this will work. In the meantime, what I can do is make a note on her parents memorial page in bio section about this link.
Working together on our Find A Grave projects is what makes this hobby work and is much fun and appreciated.

You left a flower memorial on Robert Evans at the Salem Cemetery, Merer Co., MO that has him married to Nora Lee Klinginsmith when he was only 10 yrs old.(1916). Did you mean that posting for another person? or do you have wrong marriage date?

Suzanne, unless her headstone has been recently added, there is not one. I documented this cemetery several years ago and photographed all visible headstones.

Dear Concerned Find-A-Gave Contributors and visitors,
Regarding: DUPLICATE MEMORIALS in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and surrounding area.
A former large volume F-A-G Contributor had a dispute with Find-A-Grave staff and Deleted some 80% or more, of their contributed memorials, estimated to be about 40,000 or so. Thus causing the rest of us local Contributors, over the last year or more, to re-enter those family, friends and distant relatives we noted were missing.
Once F-A-G had decided to take positive action, they reloaded all the Deleted memorials from that former F-A-G Contributor, on Wednesday, 25feb2015. F-A-G staff, undoubtedly knew they would cause tens of thousands of Duplicates, and assigned their staffer, known as 'ProjectMgr' to work through their Merge process.
Please be patient and allow F-A-G to work through the entire group of Duplicate memorials.
E49 Created above Statement
If anyone gets Find A Grave to transfer memorials cared for by ProjectMgr Just a heads up I dont delete any connected to ProjectMgr.I worked hard to replace all the memorials that had been deleted.Find A Grave choice to re-upload the Old Deleted memorials And we work free on this site.So if anyone wants our memorials Have Find A Grave Merge them or if you dont have a problem merging then more power to you.
I do want to thank anyone that has helped with my duplicants created after the major upload of old memorials formerly deleted.I really appreciate the help.
