RE: Bronaughs in Monte Vista Cemetery
Hi Bill!
Thanks for you kind words. I haven't been "busy" in quite a while as I got married 3 years ago and haven't spent any time in the Valley since then. I truly love walking the cemeteries - a hobby which I know you understand completely.
I made the updates to the Bronaughs, but now we have 2 Ammorette's and I'm guessing that's not right. Do I need to combine the photos and then delete one of the memorials? If you let me know how you want me to handle this, I will delete one and then link them together.
Thanks! Have a good one!

RE: Eddie P. Hazard memorial
It's located between Fairdale and South Montrose. No, not really close to Friendsville at all.

RE: Edward P. Hazard, Jr. gravestone photo

It has been two years since I visited McKeeby. If I remember the correct cemetery, it is not readily visible from the road because it is up a slight incline. I have submitted the location of the cemetery to FindAGrave so a map should be added to its page in the near future. If you have a smart phone, there is a FindAGrave app you can download (free) that has a map function that you can use to find the cemetery easily.

The Quaker Chuchyard is just outside the town (village?) limits. On the cemeteries page you can see where the cemetery is located and the Friendsville town limits.

If you are talking about the Edward in McKeeby Cemetery, he is about 12 miles from Friendsville. I have a map showing the cemeteries in Susquehanna County. You can see McKeesby and it shows that Friendsville is about 12 miles north west of it.

Brown Family
Hi Bill,

No problem with the edits. I'm connected to Florence (Marlatt) Brown through her mother's side.

RE: Middle and maiden names for Sarah Cornish

First I should make a correction to the info I gave ... Abraham Loami Cornish was John Jay's brother ... not Jacob's brother. I got carried away with all those "J's".
As for the Hazard's in my tree ... I have John Hazard married to Lydia Blackwell, daughter of Col Jacob Blackwell (1717-1780) and Lydia Hallett (1731-1812). I am trying to find John's parents.
Next is Nathaniel Hazard born 1765, married Elizabeth Drummond. Their daughter Elizabeth (1743-1814) married Joseph Hallett III (1731-1799).
Then there is William Hazard who married Lucretia Holmes.
I am definitely curious of the Hazard Clan as they seem to have married into (or their descendants married into) the Hallett family. WIlliam Hallett and Elizabeth Fones Winthrop Feake Hallett were my 8x great grandparents.

RE: Middle and maiden names for Sarah Cornish
Hi Bill,

Thank you for your reply. All I can cite is our Cornish family history which cites the following:

Sarah Jane Bowne (1824-1899) was the daughter of William F Bowne (1798-?) and Martia (mnu) (1796-1871).

Sarah's brother was Walter S Bowne (1821-1900) married to Phebe Avery.

Sarah married John Jay Cornish Jun 13 1827.

John Jay was the son of Jacob Miller Cornish (1791-1852) and Susan Williams Patrick (1796-1862).

Jacob and Susan were my paternal great, great, great grandparents.

Jacob's brother, Abraham Loami Cornish (1835-1904)married Ellen Sophia Bailey (1839-1899) ... and they were my great great grandparents.

I have Jay's brothers' and sisters' information as well, if you would be interested.

P.S. I have a couple 'Hazard folks' in my tree as well.

Kind Regards,

He was such a neat youngster when I knew him around 10 or 11 years old. You were very lucky to have known him as a young man. Thank you, and I will see if I can figure a way to transfer the memorial to you.

Bill,I just now saw that Nick had passed away, and without looking I entered his obituary on Find A Grave. I knew his mom and his grandparents were my neighbors in Salida. Nick was just a youngster then. I am sorry that I entered a memorial for him. My question is would you please transfer his memorial to me. Thank you.

Dear Bill,

In the memorial for James Fullerton, you mentioned his obituary. I was wondering if you still have it and would be willing to e-mail it to me. My mother and I would very much appreciate it. Thank you! Leandra
