Cheryl Senescall
Anton & Susan Schiwal
Hi, I'm not always so quick with the requests but we might get some snow tonight and tomorrow so wanted to get it done. I don't live very far from St. Patricks Cemetery, so it was no problem. There were no other Schiwal's that I could find in or close to their site. Have a great weekend. I will get Susan transfered to you tomorrow.

You know, Tree is primarily to document relationships thru census, birth, marriage, and death records.

It does not have to be a "religion" thing, but I do not think our relatives would want us to forget them. Your ?Dad is probably saying - "I hope that girl keeps digging!"

How will your grandchildren know who your father and his family was if we do not record them and take advantage of the family records and also the official records which can be gathered together?

The web site is just a little hard to navigate because it is a work in progress and the features change so often. I used to cuss that, because I'm too old to "change" - but it has all been for good - those records come together so fast, as long as you know what you are doing.

I have unraveled some of my family secrets - divorces & marriages they were not proud of and tried to "forget" - some cannot be proven, but we can do better at finding the truth - MAYBE! Let me know when to call you - (read your email). Me

past midnight, again!
I'm looking at some of yours on Tree. I will send you a message on one of them - it will be Anton Joseph Schiwal 1898-1976. It will come in an edit - so it may come to your email.

Got some questions on him. ~Me

OK - take a breath! I am going to come & take you to lunch one day....!!

I see you transferred a lot to my new friend; thanks so much! Anyone you have in any of your virtual cemeteries will stay there even when you make an actual physical transfer of the memorial, as long as you have gone to the memorial page and clicked on the "Edit Virtual Cemetery info" line located just above the Created by: line at the bottom of the page.

I have a virtual cemetery for all the transfers I have made also can put the same memorials in several virtual locations just by clicking a check mark on the categories after you enter them.

For example I have many of my "Little Ones" also in my "Great Plains Pioneers" and also in "My NonCemetery Memorials".

Often, I forget to click on that Edit Virtual Cemetery line when I transfer, so I just go back to the memorial and do it later...I'm like ScoobyDoo...will be browsing around and go, "Oooops...think that's one of mine"...go in and look..."no check mark", so I just go CHECK...and there it is - shows up in my "All Transfers to Others Cemetery".

Let me know what you need to do on need to send me your phone # & I'll call you on my free phone (unless you have a cell, because that would probably cost you minutes) - but with a land line I can call free anytime in the US & talk all I want. Otherwise email me...what ever works for you.

past midnight
Hi my friend: I need to hit the sack, but guess what... you have added some great memorials since we first found each other!

Another friend of mine has just joined, and some of your great work at SLC Cem. is her parents, grandparents etc. and in looking at them, I think you put them in while discovering nearby stones.

She was so nervous asking for a transfer, but I also had some of her family & sent them to her tonight... now that it is MORNING(!), I wanted to let you know, I taught her how to use the edit feature, so she will probably ask you for those soon.

She goes by GLJWells and I already told her how sweet you are! - talk later - my husband may catch me using this flashlight, and take my batteries away! Night...

Is William really father of Thomas?
My uncle Harold (deceased) did extensive research on the lineage for Thomas Holt (1702-1788). He thinks that John Holt (1684-1723) is the father, instead of William Holt (1667-1726). He gives more than one reason for this conjecture. Do you have a logical argument as to why William is the father? I will be happy to discuss this on this forum or privately. I can give you my email address if you want to discuss this privately.

Thank you once again for posting the photo for me of my grandparents siblings. With both having died as infants it is nice to have them documented.

Thank you so very much for recording the information about Jane being buried by her parents. I think maybe now we can order a monument for her. We so appreciate you checking out the validity of her burial and including a photo of where she is buried. Thank you again! If you ever need a photo here in Virginia just let us know.

RE: Lydia Hardy (1613-1689)
Just to comment back, I've searched through the vital records of Bradford, and from what I can tell, the only person named Hardy who died 1 May 1689 was Ruth Hardy, daughter of a William Hardy. Then the only book that I can see that sort of mentions Lydia's death is a compilation of marriages in New England. There's an entry for Thomas Hardy who died in 1678, and then it says, "& 2/wf? ?Lydia/?Ann/?Anna? (-1689)." They were from Rowley/Bradford. It's not clear if there were two wives or who the 1689 refers to. Usually you can find the original records they're using too, but I don't see it. Anyway, in FamilySearch, if you search for a Lydia Hardy who died on 1 May 1689, the only hit you get is your memorial.

Lydia Hardy (1613-1689)

Since you say that you do research for your memorials, I'd like to ask where Lydia Hardy's death date of 1 May 1689 comes from. I'm one of her many descendants, and I can't find that date in any records. Her name doesn't appear in Bradford vital records, where you would expect to see it. Have you found some other source that gives her death date? How about her birth year? I haven't seen that anywhere either. Thanks for any help!

Well - don't expect much out of those - you have to be a mind reader....sorry to say the old ones are real puzzles because few people knew how to read, write and those they were talking to - not much better - I have seen the names so "mished" (a new word I made up for "merged" + "squished") that you really have to find 40 years worth to make sense of it.
Then there are the nick names, middle names sometimes used instead of first names, third marriages....oh my! Yours must be like my husband's Texas families - married 4 times & never changed the surnames because they married brothers, uncles & cousins! [ Ha - talk hus. is digging thru the fridge looking for leftovers!]

are you fibber magee?
Did you really see me? Did they show that pic of me at Walmart, in my bikini with all the tattoos on my "unmentionables" ????? - really....that was a wig, my hair is not usually that messy and THAT color! HaHa!

You are a hoot!

Don Busby
Kendra Monette Tippets Hessheimer
I got interested in finding where Kendra Hessheimer was buried so I went to the library to see if I could find her obituary (Ogden obituaries are not on line between 1978 and 2005). While there I looked up Reed and Ruby Tippets as well. I sent them to myself and have forwarded them to you on your email. Hope this helps. From what I can find, Kendra was cremated. Her obituary does not note a burial. As I told you before there is a memorial stone on Reed and Ruby's grave site. I have talked to both the Ogden and Lindquist cemetery office and she is not buried at either cemetery.

Laura Hawkins
Hi, I am on my way over to Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. I can take a photo of Frank Santell's headstone as he should be next to Helen. If you could enter a photo request that will be great and I will post the photo when I get back home.

Cheers, Laura

I was CREEPING on your site yesterday - (boy are you "tuned in" psychic!) I was going to leave a message, but got a phone call & then remembered a meeting I had to go didn't get to message you, as I had intended. Funny, huh?

We had a bunch of repairs to do & family to help, but I keep praying for the moisture we need to stay in the mountains, so I can keep warm....waiting for spring!

We have got to get to SL (when it's warm) & meet you somewhere just to say, "Hi". Can't believe how much work there is to do! Hope all is well with you & yours....Talk later - me.

Hope you're doing well.
