|Sandy Vandertol||RE: Wallingford transfer|
My husband and I are going to finish shooting Lawrence Hill cemetery this weekend and then every stone will have a photo. It's an hour drive from where we live, but gives us a nice day away and a chance to eat out in South Haven or Saugatuck and drive along Lake Michigan. It's amazing how much you learn about history and the people who carved out the wilderness when you start working on Find a Grave. We owe so much to those early settlers and I'm in awe of their strength and courage and what they accomplished. I whine when my internet goes out in a storm and they didn't have running water or electricity.

Thanks Amy! Thanks for all you do for the Find a Grave community! Three of us ladies are doing what you are doing also, but in a big cemetery in Grand Rapids. We want every grave to have a headstone photo if possible and also a plot number. It's a huge task as there are over 25,000 names and growing. Keep up the great work!

Request the management of Violette E. Weers Baker be transferred to me. She was my Aunt and I am trying to work on our family genealogy and have all our family under my management. Thank you.

Amy, I was delightfully surprised this morning to find that you have transferred all of John McCurdy's family to me along with all the wonderful pictures! Thank you so very much,

Thank you for transferring Aaron and also for requesting a picture of his tombstone for me. He was married to an Annie. Do you know if she is also in Oakridge Cem? Aaron died at 35 so maybe Annie remarried. Thank you again.

I transferred all of the Wylies to you so you can add information. It would be easier if instead of transferring back and forth to use the edit selection to add information. Janet

There are 12 other Wylies in Mt. Hope Cem. Do you want all of them transferred to you? Janet

I am trying to link him to Theodore Gray of Ft. Covington, Franklin, New York or Brasher, St. Lawrence, New York.
Thank you! Vicky

Hello Amy, I am researching a Lafayette Gray whose family line may have arrived from France after the Revolutionary War. Father is John Gray and one of his brother's Theodore Gray. I would appreciate a chance to compare records. Thanks, Vicky McGee

|Kay Ennis||Tracy C. Brooks|
My grandfather, Thomas Esselstyn Brooks (1913-2007), researched the Brooks family and left quite a large record behind. I noticed that he has Abraham Brooks, Jr's son as Cyrus Tracey Brooks (1809-1877). The gravestone does say Tracy C. Brooks,(#65142924), so he probably went by Tracy, but just thought I would let you know in case you wanted to add a note about the full name.
Thank you for all your hard work!

|robbins5||RE: James CROCKER|
This is my first try at fulfilling requests. I found a large group of CROCKER's near the location of the request for James CROCKER. I cannot find a marker at the plot listed for James CROCKER.
There is a huge CROCKER stone and group in Section K right across from the plot listed for James.
Not sure what to do next...

Amy, Thank you so much for the transfer, and with "linking" the Ketchum family together.
Your help is very much appreciated!

There is no visable marker at the location:
Lot #356 Sec. L in the new grounds.
There is a group of CROCKER's in Sec. K very close by.
Possible Crocker unreadable
Ervilla Frink Crocker b. 1840 d. 1926
Zillah May Crocker b. 1858 d. 1951
Lulu E. Crocker b. 1873 d. 1923
L.?. & E.E. Crocker
d. 12 Dec 1860
age 2 years, 5 months and 24 days
There is a large Memorial with the last name CROCKER in the middle of this section.
Please let me know if any of these may connect to your family information. If so I will try to get more information.

Oakridge Cemetery, Marshall, Calhoun, Michigan
I have found the approximate location of
James CROCKER d. 1862
Lot 356, Sec. L New Grounds
There is still several feet of snow over the area so I will have to wait to see if I can find a marker.
