Yes- I am related, my info has you born Colorado. Sorry about your wife Jean passing away so young. Leon's mom Frances--I have her born September 1883 but there is still much confusion there and lack of information like is her middle name same as her mom Elisabeth Louise Spigall, Frances married John-- May 3, 1905--not able to find death stuff on her--her brother Frank was my Great grandfather, his son Lester Elray is my dad's father--my dad is Lester Gorden. I "Google-ed" Roland and Marguerite Dezurik and their son Bradley's obituary came up, lots of information there. Gladly send what I have to you I am stuck and need help to go backwards I know that John Yatckoske's dad was a Frank just do not know if he came to America too. And the spelling of our last name originally is Jackowski. Thanks for the note back. Deb

Thank You-- to you or whom ever put in the "next to Marguerite b. 1918". Through that I was finally able to find and add into my family tree his wife's name Marguerite A. Winter, his middle name Frances and his kids names-Bradley George DeZurik born January 7, 1947 died December 12, 2012, Linda and Chad. And more just because of that one little note. Thank you

Thanks for the note. Next time you talk with the office you can let them know that Findagrave is bringing them business - a nameplate and installation.
Thanks for your help in this mystery.

Believe it or not - all the photos are taken from the ground with a cell phone. Sometimes though, the marker is a bit tarnished like Trudy's is and I can't get a clearer photo. I'm glad you like the photos! Jim

Paul - Hello, the photos have been posted -I hope you like them, it's difficult getting clear photos when the people are on the highest tier. FYI - you might remove "crypt 43" from Trudy and replace it with crypt 7376, similarly with Julian, remove "crypt 55" and leave crypt 7397 (the cemetery didn't know what 43 and 55 referred to).
take care, Jim

Hi Paul - I did locate Julian "Jay" Maxwell at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. The office used the date of death you gave me and found him across the hallway from Trudy. As I imagined, he had a paper marker on his crypt which had almost totally faded - you could just read Jul - (regarding Long Beach, I don't know, I did check the Long Beach cemeteries on Findagrave but he didn't come up). I will post photos of both Trudy and Julian's crypts within the next few days. Hope this finds you well. Jim

You're quite welcome. They are very near to my grandparents. It's a beautiful mausoleum.

Hi Paul- I've been in touch with James Seidelman who told me that in 2002 he walked around the cemetery and wrote down all the graves/crypts he saw. At that time he didn't have a digital camera and so he didn't take photos. He said he must have seen a marker with Julian's name on it and his notes said it was on the wall opposite Trudy's crypt. He said it's possible that he mixed up crypt numbers - I'm wondering if he might have seen a paper marker with Julian's name on a crypt that has since fallen off or that perhaps it was on Trudy's crypt. Sadly the cemetery went through a very bad time of mismanagement by the previous owner - it's possible that Julian's marker was never placed on his crypt or added to Trudy's marker. I'm returning on Friday for more double checking and I'll give the office Julian's death date. I'll let you know what I find out. take care, Jim

Hello, I've located Trudy Maxwell's crypt but I'm have difficulty with Julian's crypt. The cemetery has no record of him but asked if I could provide a death date as the records are filed by death year. I asked them if Trudy and Julian could be interred together but they couldn't find any evidence of that. Do you know the death date for Julian? Jim

:) It's been an interesting 11 months. After 4 months, my mom had 2 strokes, and I've been spending time every day with her. Still enjoy taking pics for this site and uploading them to ohiogravestones.org, but just not at the speed I'd been accustomed to. We all have our problems though. Thanks for remembering my milestone, Paul!

Thank you Paul. I took photos of all visible markers and they are all posted. There is apparently another Warden cemetery in the next county and some people are posting to the wrong cemetery, or at least there were several duplicates when I upload the photos, with photo requests for this Warden cemetery that belong in the other Warden cemetery. Best Regards, Greg.

No problem. I was there taking pictures for my tree and might as well take a few more for the requests that were posted. There was almost 400 requests for this cemetery. I took about 40.

My pleasure! I usually just try to capture a clear shot of the marker itself, but her gravesite was so well decorated that it called for more.

Hey Paul! Thanks for the one month milestone reminder. Would you believe I was so busy having fun I actually forgot the date? Anyhow...don't off hand know the reason for the change in names seeing as the cemetery is in the center of Fowler. Next time I'm in Local History I'll check into it and let you know what I find. Did you notice I found Martha? She was hiding behind the Warner family monument!

I went back to Indiana for my 50th High School class reunion in Decatur County. But I spent 8 days in Dearborn with the purpose of photographing the big (14,000 burials) Greendale cemetery. I have been working on that cemetery for over a year, first adding records from an index from a book that my cousin gave me. Then the book on Greendale burials done by Milton Masing back in 2000 was reprinted and I was able to obtain a copy and started adding more info to the records. But through the years, so many of the burial records have been lost or damaged, so I hoped that photographs of the tombstones would help sort out this humungous cemetery. I did it in two stints of 4 days each and spent time visiting with cousins inbetween. It was a good vacation and I'll probably be uploading photos for some time to come.
My Canfield line has been in Dearborn County since 1800 and my Creaser line since mid 1850s. So I have lots of ties with the county and have spent a lot of time back in the 50s and 60s tramping through cemeteries filling notebooks with those records. When I found the Findagrave website three years ago I finally found a good repository for all those old notebooks.
Happy to help out with the photographs.

Hi, Paul! So far I just think I'm on vacation. I need a few weeks to get the hang of this retirement thing - sleeping in, staying up late, etc. It's funny, but I really miss the library!
