Hufford (Hoffert) thanks! :-)
Bob, thank you for the excellent photo of Philemon HOFFERT's stone at Ruff Cemetery, in Hocking County. Would you please add the same photo to his wife's page? They have a shared gravestone. Here's the link to her page: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=35058058

Thank you so much for the photo of my great great grandmother headstone. Are you in anyway related to her husband family?

Thank you again.

Elizabeth Coakley in Ebenezer
Thanks for looking. Her death certificate says she's there, and the other 3 Coakleys that you listed are her husband's brothers (thanks for those photos). Maybe her stone has been lost.

Would you please enter on Amos, Isaac and Nathan's memorials that they're the sons of Solomon Coakley and Mary Ann Stiver?

Thanks,
Natalie

RE: Ebenezer Methodist Church
Hi Bob...

That's great :) Unfortunately, I don't have editing rights.

I'll post the GPS in the appropriate forum... it should be done pretty quick.

Thanks again :)

Marks in Hocking
Thanks for the Marks photos in Smith Chapel Cem. and for adding Ray's memorial. I thought he must have died relatively young, and his stone confirms it.

RE: No Kounty Keeper for Hocking...
I'd like to do this, but I don't know who Russ is or how to contact him. I'm going out today and see if I can document twelve cemeteries in Laurel Twp. just to see how this will work.

Hi Bob...

The address should be int he keeper instructions... just send an email or PM to him.

Contact me by my email (on my profile page) and later I'll send you copies of what I have.

Bye

No Kounty Keeper for Hocking...
Hi Bob...

Just to let you know... there is no Kounty Keeper for Hocking Co. If you think you'd be interested in helping out a little more, check out this topic:

http://www.findagrave.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=577098

(Note: I don't run it, Russ does... you would contact him about it).

You could help clean up the county :)

Have a great weekend :)

RE: Fairview Cemetery - Mt Pleasant OH
Hi Bob...

That one is in Vinton County... look here:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2209543&CScnty=2121&CSsr=41&

The cemetery is actually across the county line. If that's the one here:
http://www.acme.com/mapper/?ll=39.39273,-82.45982&z=16&t=T&marker0=39.39273%2C-82.45982%2Cunnamed

then we can put the GPS coords in the request topic.

Hope this helps :)

PS Sorry the links wrap... not enough room :(

RE: Fairview Cemetery - Mt Pleasant OH
Hi Bob...

Yep, those are the coords... good job and thanks :)

About entering a new cemetery... before you create one, where is the one you need? We need to be sure that it's not already listed or it will be a long time before we get it corrected / deleted.

If you can give me directions to the one you need, I'll see what I can find out.

Again, thanks :)

Thanks for the info... GPS coords already found.

Have a great weekend :)

Fairview Cemetery - Mt Pleasant OH
Greetings...

I saw that you have posted photos from this cemetery and would like to ask if you can tell me where the cemetery is located.

I have done research on the cemeteries in Hocking and have posted some, along with some corrections.

If you can send me the directions or post the GPS coords in the Official: GPS topic, we can get a map to that cemetery.

Thanks and have a great weekend :)

PS My folks live just outside of Logan :)

Solomon HOFFERT (Ruff Cem.)
Bob, than you for the photo of Solomon HOFFERT's grave stone at Ruff Cemetery. Much appreciated! I've corrected the spelling of his surname to correspond with his grave stone. The family spelled the name various ways. When I asked for the photo, I was not absolutely sure that there was even a cemetery there. All I had was information in the old HUFFORD FAMILY HISTORY, published in 1909. Your photograph is the first proof I have there there *really* were burials there. Thanks!
