|Kathy Cunningham||Arthula N Hardy|
I've photographed all of the Savannah Cemetery in El Monte for billion graves and never found a headstone for her.
According to Southern Calif. genealogical society she does not have a headstone.
There is another Hardy listed for this cemetery but I don't know if they are related.
Baby boy Hardy 9/9/1952 Stillborn "Our darling"
on his headstone.

Mark since you manage this memorial, I sent you and edit because you have his first wife on two memorials, I send corrections and edits to the original Mary F memorial and per her d/c was born in Franklin, Mo. and her parents were Phillip Hensley and Sarah Thompson. I also sent you a suggestion that you take the dup down as it shows Preston with the same wife twice just needs some updating. I stumbled on this because of his second wife so am not finding her will make a memorial for her which is really rare nowadays. Most have been what I call massed in by folks with lots of memorials.
Thanks just wanted you to know.

Sweetie, I appreciate it, but I don't give out my e-address. I was hacked last June and guard it with life...which is my life.
Thanks so much for thinking of me.

I see your photography work in Hillcrest Burial Grounds. Would you please get me the phone number for the cemetery.
I have traced this family from Metropolis, IL. His daughter wrote a letter addressed to my grandmother and addresses her as "Aunt Alma". It started out as the Marie Lillie's family and has grown to her maiden name of Losnegard or Losnegaard.
I need or should I say would like to find his wife's resting place. She would have been Ellen Farow according to their daughter's obit. They are from Norway thru Canada into Washington.
Just leave a note on my bio page. I was hacked in June of last year and don't give out my e-address anymore.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Vern... My sincerest apologies!!! I requested you to delete a Chandler memorial, thinking it was a duplicate, but it is actually a twin brother. So sorry for the error.

No, I'm no relation. I'm just busily documenting the cemeteries of the East and West Kootenays. Now that I'm retired from paid employment I'm going back to earlier entries to add links and info.

|MrsB||When a tombstone conflicts with Social Security death notices|
I have occasionally found some carelessness with Social Security death dates (not often enough that I quit using them), and so I do go by the tombstones when possible.
On the other hand, it has occasionally been true that the tombstone carvers made errors, but the family that pays for the stone tends to get angry--I have also seen marks in the stones where the carvers tried to get away with scratching out their error on the marble and make it into a new number or letter. :)

Thanks Mark! I tried a test print of both photos and they came out okay as 3 x 5's and that's probably large enough for the book. I'll let you know, tho, if we would need a better scan. Thanks again. Lois

|Lady Nic||BOLLES CEMETERY|
Hello again, Mark. There is a book being compiled for the Bolles Cemetery (Lebanon MO) and the publishers would like to include as many photos as possible. Would you consider granting them permission to use one or both of the photos you have posted for Joseph F. Breeden and his wife Ruth Martha? You'll be given credit for the photos. Thanks!

|Mr. Jean Coston||John Emiel Lyback|
I have the same obit that the obit came from the
"Kent Journal, Thur. Oct. 19, 1916"
Also that John was first paced in the O'Brian
Methodist Cemetery per the obit. Then he was
placed in the Saar Cemetery as a request of his
mother Lena. After this he was moved to the Hillcrest Burial Park above the city of Kent.
PS: the Hillcrest Burial Park is a IOOF cemetery.
