Beatrice Hamann
Hi, Anna, I was afraid you wouldn't get the message I sent you. There was no gravestone for Beatrice, however, I took a photo of where her grave is. I believe the nearest stone was for a Person by the last name of Willems. Sorry for the confusion.

William Hopper
I completed your photo request on William Hopper. He is next to his wife Eunice Baker Hopper. There was no memorial for her so I created one and transferred it to you. I noticed that his memorial has a wife of Virgie Hopper. I did a cursory Ancestry check and Virgie appears on census records until 1930 as his wife and then Eunice as his wife in 1940, so I attached them together as a second marriage. I did not see Virgie in the area.

Elmira & Willis STONE
Anna, regarding the graves of Elmira & Willis STONE, I spoke with the Grand Rapids cemetery office today and discovered the following.

Elmira STONE is buried in lot 24 of section 5 at the Fulton Street Cemetery. There is NO record of Willis STONE being buried there or elsewhere.

However, Elmira does NOT have a headstone, which is why a previous volunteer could not find it.

I will be uploading a photo of the space where Elmira STONE is buried, an overview of the lot. Just for your information other people buried in this same lot include:

LEPPINK family: Gerrit, Katherine, Hendrickus, Jannstje, Gerrit, Hermanus, Arend

HEMPEL family: Charles MD, Charles W.

Dr. Alva NICHOLS (adjacent grave), Charles M. NICHOLS, and Mary Ann NICHOLS.

Not sure if those names mean anything to you, but people were often buried adjacent those they knew.

RE: Thank you!
Thanks for your kind words. But you give me too much credit. I took your photo request in the process of photoing all of Grrenwood Cemetery.

I added him and linked the family. Thank you for pointing this out for me. I was working on the Civil War Vets of Chippianock when I came across Melissa White-Ellinwood's first husband.

Mattie and Robert Fogle
Hi again, just happened to have a photo of their headstone already on my computer. It was interesting in that there are two Mattie Fogles interred in the same cemetery and both happened to make it to about 97-98 years when they passed. One of my mothers best friends was a Fogle back in the 1930's and her mother was the other Mattie.
Anyway, need any more, just let me know.

Take care,

Elijan and Minerva Fogle
Howdy, I made it over to the Delhi Cemetery yesterday and got some photos of their stone. The Fogles are mostly buried toward the south end but I was looking for older stones and missed it the first time around. Unfortunately there is a multi-trunked crepe myrtle growing just a few feet in front of the stone, right between them. The photo that I used on Minerva's memorial is at an angle because of the tree. But I attempted some shots holding my camera around the tree and taking shots that I hoped were centered. I used the best of these, after cropping off branches and camera straps, on Elijah's memorial. I hope they are what you were looking for. If you need some more I can try again next week.

Take care,

RE: Thanks so much!
You are most welcome. I am glad to have been of service. If you have need of any of the information listed on the cemetery records for the graves I posted, I will be more than happy to send it to you. The cards usually have cause of death, dob, dod, age, funeral home, type of interment and location of grave, also date interment was made.
