Betty,

Thanks for the obituary for Jean. I have included it on her memorial (edited to remove the names of living family).

I am not related to Jean and would be happy to transfer management to you, if you would like it. If you're interested in management of her memorial, please use the SAC function to request it.

Thanks!

I have some obits that I hope to add to Find A Grave. I do not know how to contact someone in charge of the memorials at Dry Creek for the 2 ladies that have died that control them --- I could link many of them if I could.

Betty, I found this note of yours to another Find A Grave contributor. When the original contributor is inactive, you can write to Edit@Findagrave.com, if the person is related to you you can ask for a transfer of the memorial, if not send them the info you want added, and they will add it to the memorial. Be patient - it takes them awhile as i am certain they have many such request. I hope that this helps you in a small way.

I seem to be having difficulty with my typing ability today. However, Isaac Bean is the great grandfather of my late husband William A Bean. I have quite a bit of info on the Bean family and would share it. Have you been to his gravesite? Luci Bean

RE: Cemetery Location
Hello Ms. Walker, There is only one Mountain View Cemetery in Pierce County no matter what the death certificate says the city is and it is in Lakewood, a suburb of Tacoma. So just change the location of his site through the edit button from Mountain View, TACOMA, Pierce County to Mountain View, LAKEWOOD, Pierce County that has over 13, 000 burials. Whoever added the Mountain View Tacoma, Pierce County WA Cemetery was probably unaware that Mountain View was actually in Lakewood, WA, not Tacoma, WA. The possibility also is that when the person died, Tacoma encompassed all the little suburbs of today so that is what was listed on the death certificate and then when F.A.G. started up, the distinctions were made between Tacoma and it's suburbs. I hope that makes sense. Thanks again.

RE: Dry Creek Cemetery
Betty,
Thank you so much for offering. My grandmother was actually Mary Ann Harris Metts ,she was Sibbie's aunt on her mothers side. I have a lot of family history and am currently working on a Family Tree.
My mother and I are suppose to go to Little Henry's house on the 11th of November.Roy is suppose to be there.I haven't seen any of them since Florence Bolten's funeral a few years ago. Sandra,Henry's wife does a lot of Genealogy and she is going to share that and pictures with me . I am really excited.
My Mom is 85 and I am trying to take her to see her cousins and family that are still alive, so they can visit. We went to see Sibbie a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful visit.
They are all so full of stories and more than willing to share.
If there is ever anything I can help you with I will be more than happy to share.I love doing Find A Grave. This has been such a wonderful source of information.

Thank you
&
God Bless
Cynthia
