RE: Johnsons in Marquette Michigan!
Hi, Kimberly,
If you aren't familiar with the website Seeking Michigan, it would probably be useful to you. It has all original Michigan death certificates from 1897-1920 displayed, and that's what I used, their death certificates, for Alfred and Albertina Johnson's memorials along with their gravestone picture. Just go to and look around. You'll find them. As for Alfred's father being John Nelson, it's not really surprising. Swedish people used patronymics, and there was a period when they were transitioning over to our way of surnames. In Marquette, for a while some were still using the old take the father's first name and add "son" to it way, and that's how you get Johnson for Alfred's last name. He could have just as well called himself Alfred Nelson. It honestly gets confusing trying to link Swedes up! Anyway, I will transfer Alfred and Albertina to you.

RE: Johnson's in Marquette Michigan!
Hi, Kimberly,
Sorry to disappoint you, but as I wrote on my profile page, none of the memorials I've created are of my relatives and I have no more information on them. I'm glad that you're interested in Johnson memorials that I have, and if any are your relatives, I'd be happy to transfer them to you. Use the Edit button to request them. I actually can't tell which Johnson family is yours since I have two men named Alfred Johnson. It was definitely the most common name in the cemetery!

Kimberly - I follow Find A Grave guidelines on transfers. I will add any factual and appropriate information you have to their memorials and give you full credit. Also, if you are collecting those on your family tree, check the "virtual cemetery" feature on Find A Grave where you can gather family members by surname or other grouping. See my profile for examples. Stephen

RE: Rodakowski's

The photo for Stanislaw Rodakowski was on his grave marker. I'm not related and do not know any more about him.

Sorry that I can't help you!

Best wishes,

RE: Louis Todd Photo Request
Yikes! A hanging!!

And I struck out today. foo! There's nothing to indicate the block/lot/plots at the cemetery so I called the city and was given directions to the exact spot and there was no headstone for Louis or any other Todds at the location. Bummer!

I'll add a note to the request with the directions I was given and maybe the original volunteer or someone with more experience can pickup. If you get any more details though let me know and I'll try again.

Take care! Dana

RE: Louis Todd Photo Request
Seahawks did it!!!!! That was amazing!! Yay!!!!

No worries about the timing! I only live a few blocks away and needed the excuse to get outside.

That was a surprise to hear of such a violent death here in sleepy Kirkland. I tried to see if I could find some info about the shooting but came up with nothing. There's no office at the cemetery, but the city of Kirkland that manages it might have info for you.

Oh my I see people are starting to go nuts downtown with the celebrations. Have a safe night! d.

Good News! I found Nathaniel today. He is not buried next to his wife, but actually quite a distance in between. I was so glad to find him for you. I am adding 2 pictures, but also have a chalked photo if you'd like.

Nathaniel Hawyorth
I was at the Ebenezer Cemetery in Greene Co., TN today and was able to find Lydia Haworth, but did no find Nathaniel. I hope to return and do the entire cemetery since it is small and perhaps I will find him. There were 2 markers close to Lydia that were illegible.

A notation in the Fairbury Cemetery book states:
"James Ireland was born Jan. 1836 in Kenneway, Fifeshire Scotland. Came to Penn. in 1842. TO Jefferson Co. 1869. Married Isabelle (Dick) 1861 in Ill. James was a charter member of the Fairbury Baptist church. He was sheriff of Co. 1888-1890. Isabelle died and he married Anna M. Hartman in 1889. Children are Lynn & John. Children by Isabelle were Lizzie, William, Kate, Jennie, Anna, David, James & Alice."

James, Isabelle & their infant are buried in section 4. M. Anna & James Hartman are buried in section 3.

Hope this helps.

RE: Elizabeth Dunham!!!
I would be most happy to transfer these relatives' memorials to you, but please use the "edit" tab on each memorial to request the transfer, the resulting emails will contain the memorial number and your member number so we have a clean transfer.
Thank you, Stephen
