John Pete Cullen
Hi Diann
I was doing a family history search. My grandmother was a sibling of John Pete Cullen.
Her name is Florence M. Zweigle, her grave is on this site. In the obituary for John she and several others are listed as siblings. Can you attach her to this site. She was married to Eugene O Zweigle. They had 2 children, my father, Eugene Zweigle and Raymond Zweige. both still living.
Thanks Jean Zweigle.

RE: R.W Garland Cemetery
Here's how Find A Grave says you can contact another member....

"Is there a way to search for a member's profile page?
Yes, but you will need to know their public name used on the main site. Go to 'Contributor Tools'. From the Customize box, click the 'edit' button next to 'My Find A Grave Friends', then select the 'Find Members' link."

Hope this helps.

RE: R.W Garland Cemetery
I googled and found this cemetery in Pennsylvania? I've never been to Pennsylvania. I don't see anything on the page in reference to me. The only person I see a reference to is Boyd Lydick with his Find A Grave membership number. This isn't me.

RE: R.W Garland Cemetery
I didn't create the cemetery. I'm not even familiar with it. Can you tell me exactly how the cemetery is named & where it's located? I've searched & can't get it to come up on Find A Grave. I'd really like to check this out. Thanks!

Thank you so much!
Diann, thank you so much for transferring my West great-great grandfather to me. I appreciate your having taken the time and making the effort to create his memorial in the first place. You may have retired from social work but you're still helping people. Bless you for volunteering!

Hi! Yes, I do plan on entering all 1,288 photos I've taken. I am still working on the Seaford Odd Fellows as well. With my slow internet, it takes sooo long to enter just one photo so right now I'm fulfilling photo requests first and will work on the rest later. Quite an pun intended ;)

RE: Bethel Mariners
Hello: (Hammond - Lemuel & Mary P)

I found the headstone!!!!! Woohoo!!! The link you gave me helped (I imported into a spreadsheet so I could sort it and find names that would lead me to the gravesite). I can't believe I missed it before... I've walked that cemetery many, many times!!!

On another note: I found the Roxana Cemetery. The gentleman's number you gave me (Elton Murray) was on vacation; however, his wife gave me another name (Albert Hudson - 302-436-2103) who met me at the cemetery and helped me find the headstones I was looking for. (I'm not sure about one because the death date is off by 2 years but this man was so certain... I can go back again but I really didn't want to take up more of his time.)

Thanks again for the info.

RE: Mariner Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery
Diann - A great big THANK YOU!!! for this link!!! I had seen this site a couple of months ago, but neglected to bookmark it then. And promptly forgot all about it. :-( Silly me.

On our quest to find the Littletons, we only had "East-side center" for directions. We concentrated on sections 1 & 2 (mostly #2), thinking that they were both to the EAST of the church & that #2 was in the center, between sections 1 & 3. I guess we just didn't pay any attention to the compass on the map, figuring that Rt. 26 runs East-West, so the orientation of the cemetery was to the East & North-East of the church building itself.

It looks like someone else has already taken photos of these Littletons; I'll keep checking before I get to Ocean View again, just in case they still need to be posted.

Again, thank you. I've learned so much in just a few months from kind people like you on both Ancestry & Find A Grave.............susan :-)

Hi... I did see Hammond's headstones but not "Lemuel Hammond." I think it was the Boy Scouts that did a community project by creating a list of every name they found in the cemetery (I have to find it again) but there was no "Lemuel Hammond" on the list.

I went to the link you sent which does show a "Lemuel Hammond" and the Sec/Row. I'll go back to the cemetery and check each name listed in Sec 4, Row 16. Wish me luck!

I only have soc security death record of 1977. I went with West Woods Cemetery since his spouse Alice M DC gives that cemetery in 1955.

West Woods cemetery
Hello again, I just rechecked their DC's and under burial location it gives West Woods, Millsboro DE. Is Millsboro near Gumboro which is where cemetery is listed on findagrave. ?

Wilkersons at Westwoods
Hi Diann, thanks for all your efforts to find them...I don't quite understand because their DC's showed Westwoods or West Wood. Is there another cemetery similar name perhaps?

RE: St. Thomas M.E. Church, Millsboro
Unfortunately I don't know who is responsible for that cemetery. I wish I could be more helpful. I think one of the neighbors cuts the grass there.

RE: Christina Bittinger
I know that Christina's maiden name was Reinholdt and her husband Nicholas is a Revolutionary War veteran. I do not know who her parents were or much about their life in Adams County area. I can be reached at if you have any addtional info. Thanks again for your help!
