Thank you for sending the obit. Now I know his first name. One of my pet peeves is when there is an initial and the full name is not on the grave. :)

I think we need to let our friends and other volunteers know about these changes. Thanks for approving edits.

Find A Grave Change
A friend told me about this change a couple days after this was deployed. I have sent edit/s to you so I thought maybe you didn't know about it. You might want to pass it on to your friends. If I have sent this to you before, sorry, but I didn't see it on your profile page. thanks!!! ~Peggy

New "Automated" system for "Suggest a Correction/Submit an Edit"

******Please Note******
New System for Memorial Edits deployed by FindAGrave on 12/5/2013

Go to your Contributor/Profile page.
Look in the upper right corner. You should now see a tab called "Edits" - check there to see if any have been submitted to you. Then just review and accept.

Way easier for doing updates to names/dates/ places/plot #s/links to spouse/s and parents.

You still will get e-mails to add info to bio section.

Thank you
Thanks - You're quick! You might add Warren's middle name, Albert, just for the record.

RE: Henry and Anna Glosser
The 3rd stone was Margaret Elaine Townsend. I made a memorial for her since there was none on
F-A-G. It also said "Nanny" on her stone.

I am sorry about the mixup. I removed the pictures. I will put Anton back on my list of graves to search for and take pic of.

those lechtenbergs
You're welcome.
Anytime... Clara and her husband's markers were wet. They were watering today and I was dodging the sprinkler.. but I got them, none-the-less.

It's okay. I'm happy to post additional photos. I should have mentioned that I asked Jan to post, when I removed my claim on the photo.

I have located some other Lechtenberg family members there at Mother Joseph and will photograph and post those as well.
If it's your family, let me know... I'll happily transfer.

I appreciate your opinion in this matter.

I personally asked Jan to post her photograph.

Jan and I do photograph differently, however I greatly appreciate her work; she photographs randomly, often, and in a spirit of volunteerism.

I assumed the same photo would be nice for both. I was out at that cemetery today on another matter, however I did not photograph Mr. Lechtenberg's marker.

Tomorrow, I will photograph and post.

Carrie Arens Kern
Thank you for the death date of Carrie. She was married to my great great grandmother's brother. We knew then moved to Minnesota, but not much else about them after they moved.
Thanks again,

Picture usage
Thank you for sharing your pictures on find a grave. I have started using grave pictures as an additional source document in my personal family tree. May I use the picture you have posted for Nancy Mandy Shacklett Holt, as well as any others I come across of those within my family tree, in my personal files. I will so note that they are from: Find A Grave Contributor: Librarians rule! 47101328.
Thank you again for your time & effort, I do appreciate it.

RE: Harold and Addie Carlson
Hi, Mary Anne,

Thanks for letting me know about the server problems. I did have trouble uploading pictures last night, which is why I quit part way through the group and went to bed. The undone ones will just add to my backlog, I guess. :-)

I was very pleased with Harold and Addie's grave position. The sprinklers were on in that section of Cloverdale when I was there, but the reach was JUST not quite enough to hit their marker (and me in my long dress). It had some large drops on it, so I sprayed the whole marker with tap water to unify the look. It's the first time I have done that, and I was quite pleased with the result.

Usually when the sprinklers are on, I get drenched. It is great on those miserably hot days, but yesterday it was only about 85. So, dry was nice.

Thanks again for the information.

Sue Ann
