J H Hafley
Hi, I believe you have the headstone photo for Mary V Hafley accidently attached to J H Hafley in the Mooresville Cemetery in Mooresville, Limestone County, Alabama. It is also attached to Mary and was wondering if you also had a photo of the headstone for J H that you meant to attach. Thanks so much! Susan Handley

RE: David Jones
Hi Patty...

David Jones has NO Headstone... he is in the plot/open space NEXT to Isaac Phillips... The Cemetery Manager had to locate the plot and show me where to photograph... Sorry for the misunderstanding... Mark

I see you placed the Cemetery photo for Hayneville Cemetery in Lowndes Co., Ala. I was recently there and was wondering are the 2 Cemeteries next to each with a femce seperating them, are they both Hayneville Cemetery or does the other one have a different name?
Thank You, Robert Adlet

Jonathan Harlan
Do you have a picture of Jonathan Harlan 1755? He was married to an Elizabeth Fawcett, who were the parents of my Mary Harlan that was married to William Vogan. I have been at that Gravesite and could not find a stone.

Burleson-Stephenson Cemetery
The two photos of the Burleson Cemetery #1 are in the wrong cemetery. The pictures should be deleted and added to the Burleson-Stephenson Cemetery.

Thank you for the photo of Elizabeth Smith's headstone. The image on Find-A-Grave is not quite readable. By any chance, can you read the birth and death dates on your orig. photograph?

Thanks again.

RE: Cates
I was not expecting that kind of news, ususly here how rude people are and offer no help. Joseph is probably a distant cousin but cant prove it at this point.
Thank you so much for the information and help.

I noticed the DOB is 2/3, but according to the headstone it should be 2/13, hopefully you know which one it should be.

No idea about accesibility--best to check with the church--but can't imagine why there wouldn't be during daylight hours.

Brenda
Joiner Cemetery
Hi Patty,
I see that you have posted a picture for Claudie Joiner at the Joiner Cemetery in Alabama. If there is a chance you'll be out that way again, I'd appreciate any pictures of any other Joiner headstones you'd be willing to provide. This was my mother's maiden name and a great deal of her relatives are from Alabama. Or even if you'd be willing to provide some names of some of the other Joiners you might find there I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Thanks so much Patty. I really enjoy the photos with our Find A Grave entries. They add so much to our researching of family members. This line comes into the family through my maternal great grand aunt. Her new spouse originally came from Greene, PA area, to Brimfield, Peoria, IL., where they got hitched, & on to IA with his spouse & her sister's new hubby. It is so neat Find A Grave can help us family historians, & that you are a part of this wonderful experience. Thank you so very much.

Harlan/Vogan
Patty~ I am researching my family, which is Vogan. Jonathan Harlan is the Father to my Mary Harlan who married William Vogan. Mary Harlan had a second husband named William Dean. I was in Harlansburg Pa, not too long ago and was trying to find their grave in the Unity Baptist Cemetery with no success. I am having the Lawrence county Historical Society help me..They said that there are old graves in the Zion Baptist Cemetery in Butler county, which is just south of Unity Baptist off route 19. I actually enjoyed searching in the cemeteries. Must get back to Newcastle area again. If you have any information on Jonathan Harlan or Mary Harlan would be most helpful

Thank you
Soozie

Pickens
I believe your Van Pickens will not have a stone. I have photographed that entire cemetery. I still have a few sections to get posted, but I went thru all the pictures and I do not have a Van Pickens. In that section with the other Pickens, there is only one unknown and I don't think it would be him, best I can tell. I am having someone check the burial records for me, to see what is says about a stone and location of his burial. If I have overlooked it, and there is a stone, I will surely get you a picture of it.

RE: Eliza Rambaut
You're welcome! I had thought Eliza had no headstone because it wasn't on a survey done in 1992 - but somehow they had just overlooked it. Glad to finally find it!
