|Margaret and Darrell Lancaster||RE: Enoch Spinks #40191055|
I used information on the internet to make the connection between Enoch Spinks to his father. I do not have any family information stating this relationship. If you have conflicting information, please share that with me since I am trying to make my family tree as accurate as possible. John Jonas (Ramsom) Spinks/Spikes is my 3rd great-grandfather.

Your very welcome. Charlie looks so lovable. Those beautiful eyes and that nose. Just a big teddy bear he looked.

I would appreciate ANY information you could send me about Enoch Spinks or his family. One place I saw "Spinks/Spikes." Do you know what that means? Also, if there are pictures of his (or any) gravestones, could you tell me how to access them? Many, many thanks for your time,

Hello! I noticed that you mentioned Enoch Spinks. He was my great-great-grandfather. Do you have more information on him or any of his family?

Thanks for the token you left on my great grandma's memorial.

Thank you for your time.
I can check the records here. Most of them have been gathered into the Genealogy Room in the Museum which is in the old State Farm Ins. building up by the funeral home. the new post office was built on the south side of the street.
They worked on those old marble tablet stones and they are as white as new. Beautiful. There is a product that bleaches the contaminates after washing with a special soap.
Nice to here from you,

I just checked and you don't have dates just the inscription. The dates must have come from Ancestry. Still if you can tell me where you found Emmerrette's info it will help.
It might have been Ammerette on another site.

|Madolin Barry||Emmerette L. Firman|
Hadley, Greenwood Cemetery
Lapeer Co. Genealogy recently had a seminar at Greenwood. My sister and I were assigned a grave just south of the line of Greenes.
We dug out a tablet stone that has Firman where it would say "wife of /Robert Firman" We can read Firman nothing else on that line. The tablet is broken into five slabs. The dates don't seem to match Emmerrete's dates. I was wondering where you got your dates and inscription for Emmerrette as the stone was carefully buried two foot down in the ground.
We are trying to record all we can find for the Co. Genealogical Society so any resource is a huge help. All records are available for public research at the museum.
Thank you so much for your response,
We want to be sure before we publish any information.

Thank you for the info on my Uncle Ralph William Foster Jr you recorded 30 DEC 2010 Plot M-465.
I'm trying to locate info on his wife and I think she is buried next to him. All I have on her is "Polly". Is there anyway for you to search your records for adjacent sites?

My wife's G G Father was Abel Mastin Key Jr. I don't have much on your side of the family but would be glad to share what I have on Abel Mastin Jr's family. It is easier to contact me at email@example.com. I do have a photo of the grave I can attach to an email.

|Mark Pfaffenroth||J M Key Stonewall Cemetery|
Just wanted to let you know I visited Stonewall Cemetery in Griffin, GA this week (15 Apr 2013) and did locate the grave of J M key, a Confederate veteran. His grave is located in row 5 just to the right of the second row marker. The stone is very difficult to read, but knowing it was listed as #140 made it easier to locate. Thank you for the original listing as it made it easier to find. J M Key was my wife's Great Great Grandfather's brother.

If you could transfer Samuel and his wife, Martha, to me, it would be terrific. Samuel was the brother of my g.g. grandfather. Thank you so much for the work you do. Is there anything I need to do for the transfer?

I didn't request it. Someone else did. I called in case I'm in the area I would know his location.

Will do, Sharon. I'll start by requesting a transfer of the memorials for my great grandparents since that is allowed by findagrave.

Thanks for the advice, Sharon. I'll try to find the emails (there have been many) since I first tried to contact that contributor two years ago. Very frustrating.

Hi Sharon, May I ask your advice about the memorial of my 2G grandfather, Alonzo Elmer?
Unfortunately the person who created the original memorial is unwilling/unable to correct the typo or add information and has ignored several requests to transfer the memorial to me.
That's why I created a new/duplicate memorial for him and for my other direct ancestors whose memorials were created by the same person.
This is a very frustrating situation and I would very much appreciate your advice.

Thank you for letting me know about the duplication. In checking, I found the name spelled two different ways in the obit. That's why the first memorial wasn't found. Thanks for helping to keep info accurate.

Find A Grave Memorial# 56816092. She was married to George Benjamin Crosby when she died. Does anyone know why she was buried with her maiden name instead of Crosby or if George is buried in Farmers Creek Cemetery instead of the Owens Cemetery? Haven't been able to locate a marker or tombstone for him although all records indicate Owens Cemetery. Seems like she had a few more marriages prior to George. Still working on it.
