I can't express how happy I felt when I saw that you had answered my request for the grave photo of my grandparents and great grandparents. I had requested photos for years and decided to try again. This means so much as I never met them. I thank you so very much for your time and thoughtfulness. Bless you.

Thank you for the photos
What a wonderful gift for Memorial Day weekend - your photo contributions for the DeLong and related families.
I really appreciate your work to "fill out" their memorials. Thank you so much, Lonnie.

Lorenzo Pierce Godwin
Dear Shelly,
Thank you so very much for the photos of the gravestones of Uncle Pierce and Aunt Eva. I live in Virginia not far from where Uncle Pierce was born and if it were not for you I would not have been able to honor my uncle in the way this site allows us to do.
Thank you so very much,
Pierce Eichelberger

Yes, you may use the photo.

I was unable to locate Apollonia's grave marker, though it was supposed to be in the same cemetery. I see that someone else did locate it and posted photos.

How are you related?

RE: Leona Morgan
The independent survey of the cemetery also shows Leona's last name as Smith. Perhaps, she took back Smith after she separated from her husband. I believe I read that her brother was also a minister, seems like I saw it on a county history site. Perhaps, if you call the cemetery, they could at least give you the interment date for both Leona and Loren.

I found this:

tached 55th Balloon Co.; discharged Dec. 24,

Nancy (Cowley) Weise
RE: Squeezebox Clyde Groat
Hello! I regret to inform you that my amazing grandmother Nancy Sue Cowley Weise passed away last night. I am Stacy Marie Skemp Hollmann, her only granddaughter. She has been passing on this amazing hobby to me and I promised her I would take it over and learning my way through it as I continue her legacy and finish her book. Please help me make this happen and be patient as I catch up and address her findagrave inbox! Please do contact me directly Stacy (Skemp) Hollmann (#48948236) or for faster responses as findagrave helps me transfer her records to me. Thank you so much in advance for your help. I am here to help you too!

RE: John O. Van Zanten

Go right ahead and use the photo. I am happy to let you use it and thank you for asking. Most people don't. If you would like copies of the originals, just contact me. I usually take a couple of each stone and pick the one that comes out best.

RE: Photos on

That would be no problem at all. I am an historian with the South Holland Historical Society in South Holland, IL. I have been working on a project to get as much information and pictures of the early settlers of South Holland,IL. on line as I can to help out relatives who are working on their genealogy. I believe this is important and fun. So do what ever you want. I'm glad I could help. Let me know if you need any other help.

Walton Ellis Patton..your memorial was first so perhaps the other person should delete theirs.
You do have his spouse connected to the one you posted. I tried to correct the previous post but couldn't find out how do to that. Sorry for the additional posting.

There are 2 memorials for Ellis Patton. #47075202 & #125248556. His death certificate lists his name as Walton Ellis Patton. Can one of these memorials be deleted please so it doesn't appear there are 2 people with the same info.

Bertha Pauline Norman Patton
#47069758 and #136518103 Are these two people one and the same? One record has Bertha Pauline and the other record has Pauline Bertha. After looking at the info I believe they are the same person. Can you verify this?
