Peter McCarty correction
Peter McCarty is the younger brother of my great-great grandfather, Henry Christopher McCarty. Our family records show him as born in Indiana. Do you have some proof otherwise?

Please let me know.

Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph the Knotts grave marker! You've helped to piece together a family mystery decades in the making.

Thank you Shelly. I actually live much closer than you but have some difficulty with mobility. I may try and visit the cemetery and check it out for myself. In the meantime, thank you for your interest in trying to help solve a mystery for me. I look forward to hearing from you again.

I can't express how happy I felt when I saw that you had answered my request for the grave photo of my grandparents and great grandparents. I had requested photos for years and decided to try again. This means so much as I never met them. I thank you so very much for your time and thoughtfulness. Bless you.

What a wonderful gift for Memorial Day weekend - your photo contributions for the DeLong and related families.

Dear Shelly,
Thank you so very much for the photos of the gravestones of Uncle Pierce and Aunt Eva. I live in Virginia not far from where Uncle Pierce was born and if it were not for you I would not have been able to honor my uncle in the way this site allows us to do.
Thank you so very much,
Pierce Eichelberger

Yes, you may use the photo.

I was unable to locate Apollonia's grave marker, though it was supposed to be in the same cemetery. I see that someone else did locate it and posted photos.

How are you related?
