BETHEL CEMETERY ASSN. CHAIRMAN/SEXTON
RE: Julia Boetzel Haverlandt
back in 2001, when it was still possible for public to access older records I checked for any and all names I knew were presumably at bethel. I had death record in my hand and copied info. You would need to contact the flathead county Montana clerk and recorders office in Kalispell Montana, then provide name and they can retrieve the file and make a copy and send to you, there is a small fee. good luck michael

You're welcome! I did go there today and saw that all of those that I mentioned do have markers. They were under a couple inches of slush and ice but I did find them thanks to their excellent maps and will try to get those photos if I can yet this year.

RE: Winnie Schultz Hoppe
You're welcome, Judy. I also took the photo for her niece, Gladys Ludvigsen, seeing that her memorial was not yet up. There is another Hoppe in 23 as well, Maysie and Howard are in the same plot but Howard is spelled "Hope", which is probably a mistake since they share the same 2-person plot. It shows no icon for a headstone though, meaning it's probably unmarked. Also unmarked are a bunch of Schultz's in an adjacent plot: Kenneth, Loretta, and Winton. Also with Winnie, Minnie and Gladys in the same plot opposite are Leonard and Mary Mackenburg. Their graves are marked but are in the row to the east so I didn't see it. Union Cem has a really nice interactive burial search that you can look at and use to put up those memorials if they are family members, just FYI.

Hi Again,
Tuns out that Carl and Anna are interred about 50 feet away (a little up the hill) Carl was 2/16/1904 and Anna was interred 7/26/1906 - I updated the photos.
Take Care

Hi there,

I added a couple of more photos (temporarily) to show nothing on the back of the large monument and nothing else around.. I didn't fill the request because I'm only presuming that the children are at the parents feet. Sometime soon I will try to get with the cemetery staff to look at the records for confirmation and send you a follow up message, sorry I couldn't help more.

Regards, Mike

Nobody owns the dead
Nancy Salisbury does not own headstones nor does she own the dead, if she claims to own the dead she better come up with land title to said cemetery proving she owns said land, every blade of grass, she better show she paid for the plots and provide receipts for each and every headstone. So tired of people intimidating others on here.

RE: Barnes
You're welcome. As it turns out we are also related to the Barnes's through marriage. Fred L Barnes who I just located in the same plot in this cemetery is a brother of Roland. Fred was married to Alice Reardon and her mother Hannah was a twin sister to our 2xgreat grandmother. Small world!

RE: Photo Request in Oakland Cemetery
Hi Judy:

I took some photos today of Roy and Grace - both of their stones are somewhat buried. It was extremely sunny today and Grace has a very reflective stone. I will have to take new photos when it is not sunny, and I will get you a better picture that shows their overall location.

Photo Request in Oakland Cemetery
I would be glad to fulfill your photo request for Oakland Cemetery, however it would be helpful if you could contact them and get the plot location for the Petersons and let me know the location. Because there are so many requests for this cemetery, I cannot obtain all of the locations. They are very helpful, and if you cannot call long distance, you can email Bob for the info.

Thanks!

Christina

RE: Hanigan 128089539
I was searching through Ancestry.com & in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Neenah, Wisconsin, there are a number of Hanagan/Hanigan's buried there.

That one gravestone that has fallen apart - we will go out to it when the sun dries up everything & check the stones closely for any names & dates but I have to suggest that this stone may only be a marker stone for many of this family who are buried in that plot.
There were about a dozen Hanagan's living in Menasha, Wis.

RE: Hanigan 128089539
When the weather is a bit warmer & the rains have stopped, we'll go out & search the stones for wording, names & dates.
Also at this cemetery, there are 3 generations of Edward Hawley's.

Awwwww! :(
I remember that stone! Unfortunately, what you see, here, is all there is: just the "Hanigan" name; we do not know who it belongs to, as any other writing has long-since faded away. Disappointing; I/we know. Will continue to look for your other relatives, over here, as we find those names.

Sincerely,
LS/WS

Tucker!
I am posting a photo for Beulah #84907693 and John Tucker #82883820, the Founders of Memory Gardens. It's a little blurry because it is inside the dark mausoleum, sorry about that. Do you know if and how they are related to the other Tuckers in Memory Gardens Cemetery? Thank you.

72135714 Blanche Peterson
Regarding your suggestion of maiden name "Taylor" for Blanche Peterson..

Before processing your suggestion, I would request that you please share your source of info for her maiden name.

I note that Blanche Taylor, at age 56, married Roy Peterson. Was Blanche still a single woman when she married Roy?

With appreciation,
Susan

RE: Howard Drake
I thought it was Stella J Drake until I saw a birth record that stated Agnes Gertrude Stohr. His father was married 3 or 4 times and had nearly 10 children by different wives. (busy man!) I don't have his file in front of me at this moment.
