Photo posting
Thank you very much for posting the photos of the headstone for my great-granduncle/aunt Dominique & Anna Estacaille. I was pleasantly surprised to find the stone also included their sons Henry and Edmond.

Agnes Annette EDDY Foreman
Ann... Thank you so much for the photo. I know her husband was not buried at Holy Cross and I am wondering if you happened noticed if she is buried with the Eddy family. If you didn't, no big deal, but, I would appreciate it if on your next visit out there (and you have time), you would mind checking on that. I don't need photogs of the graves, I'm just curious... Thanks again! KBo

Transfer of Photo to Original Memorial
Hi Ann! Long time since we've chatted!

It has been pointed out to me that my memorial for Hazel Owsley is a duplicate. Since you posted a photo on my memorial (73218017) would you mind re-posting it to the original memorial (5965173) and then I'll delete my duplicate.

ALEXANDERs #97904250 & #97904316
Hello Ann, The two other children listed in the 1900 census (Caroline and Mary W.) are also interred (and you have recorded them) at Mt. Crest Abbey. They are Elizabeth A. KORINEK #97517460, and Maryan W. Hagen #115054133, wife of Oscar L. Hagen #115054085. I would be happy to provide you with proof if you would allow me to contact you privately.

Alexanders #97904250 & #97904316

First, thank you for recording these two individuals at Mt. Crest Abbey Mausoleum. Second, there are two people incorrectly listed with them as a daughter and a son. A third person listed, is in fact, a daughter. Are these calculated relationships easy to delete?

Your entry for this person has the b date of 12 Apr 1901 and d date of 14 Feb 1965; however, the data on the tombstone pictured on that entry has dates of 16 Sep 1900 and 11 Jan 1969.??

Maggie Leff, #49455039
Hi Ann -- Another bit of obituary information for one of your memorial pages.

Maggie Leff's obituary was published in
The Oregon Statesman (Salem, Oregon) on 23 Jul 1933 and gives her full name as Mrs. Margaritte Leff. She had daughters, Mrs. C. H. Wilson, Mrs. Hilda Beutler, Mrs. Lydia Zigvalsen, Mrs. Arthur Koming, Mrs. Anna Thompson and sons, John Leff, Herman Leff, and Albert Leff. She had brothers, John G. Hagenlacker and Phillip M. Hagenlacker and sisters Mrs. Henry Schott and at least two others that were cutoff by the end of the page -- my photocopy was meant to copy another person's obituary.

If you are interested in the rest of the obituary, it is on microfilm at Salem Public Library, Salem, Oregon.

I just added a memorial for Isadora McKinley Foreman, #142132505, based on an obituary I captured with research records. I am not related to her so I will transfer it over if a relative wants it.

I also did a search for her other son, Thomas O. Rogers and may have found him at #51178285.

Mary Eleanor
id# 49454505
Iva Ellen Claggett / Ivy Ellen Claggett appear to be the same person. Her parents seem to have been William D Claggett (1840-1911) and Lucy Ellen Henness (1849-1870) as Henness is the mother’s maiden name shown on the CA death certificate for Ivy/Iva. In 1900 the Welch family lived with Iva/Ivy’s grandfather, not her father, Charles D Claggett
(1813–1902) See the corrections posted on the census record.

RE: Obituary Citation - Lottie Martin
Hi Ann -
So glad you are interested in adding this information to her memorial.
"Late resident of 5253 NE 16th St, Portland, ..." - she passed "at a local hospital" on 23 Nov 1942 (no indication if it was a Portland or Salem hospital. Her Oregon death certificate at the Oregon State Archives will provide the actual place of death. I moved out of state in September so I am sorry to say I cannot volunteer to check that for you.

Daughters: Mrs. L. D. Lambeth (Salem), Mrs. Frances O'Conner (San Francisco), Mrs. Lottie Wagnon (Portland)
Son: A. E. Martin (Timber, Oregon)
Six grandchildren not named

Services with Clough-Barrick Chapel on 25 Nov 1942.

Burial: Mr. Crest Abbey Mausoleum

If this does not cover everything, please do let me know.

Best wishes.

Robert Pedersen
RE: Spencer buried with Hannon
Ann, thanks for the prompt response. Yes...I do have a tree under called Pedersen family tree. Also, Minnie was married to Arthur R Spencer (1870-1926). There is no Hannon in my family that I am aware of. The circumstances of Minnie have been quite mysterious and the fact that she is in the plot with Philip Hannon increases the mystery.
