Clarence Tolman
Would it be possible for you to change the DOB to 1923? Also I am looking for my copy of his obituary to add also if that is okay with you. Or would you mind transferring it to me?

Thanks!

My parents have a book about their life together, a bio in their own words....what type of information are you looking for?

feel free to email me at tftolman@yahoo.com

Clarence is my Grandpa. My Grandma is still alive as are all of their children so I might be able to help.

I got the pictures from my dad who probably got them from my grandma, Clara Allred Larson and her mother, Clara Maud Judd.

Hi Lee,
I don't have any information on Lydia Tolman. However you can email Loraine Tolman Pace our Tolman genealogist at: thimbles_4@msn.com or leave a message on our Tolman Facebook page. One of the cousins might have the information.

RE: The Salmon Graves....
You're welcome. Sorry the ice was too hard to remove on Joe Moats grave. I could take another picture later when the snow is gone if you like, just email or message me to remind me.
My late husband, Larry Skidmore worked for Larry Moats in 1968 when we first settled in Salmon. He was a really nice guy.

I photo will try to photo your requests in the next couple of days. We have quite a blanket of snow everywhere that does not appear to be leaving anytime soon.

Lapur Horn - US Census
c.f. 1920 & 1930 Census, says he was born in CO., perhaps he was buried there? [link]:

The 1920 record lists him as the "step-son" of Oran Ross (thus, the son of Rose)...

Lapur Horn
You said, "Lapur Horn.... Do you have any idea when Lapur died or where he is buried??? Added by lee romrell on Dec 11, 2012 5:52 PM."

Alas, no. My Mom must not have been "close" to this 2nd-cousin. I don't recollect hearing her mention any of the names (mother lived past 100). She was close to the STREMMEL side of her Rushville family, but not as much with respect to the SCHRAMM relative, save those which went west to Nebraska. Four of my Great-Grand-folks are buried in Rushville city cemetery. As for Persinger Cemeterey - I am related to the PERSINGER folks, through a common HESS ancestor.

RE: Nina Horn...
You said, "Okay, I figured it out. If you look at the Memorial for Nina Rittenhouse, 1899-1998, buried with her brother, it is the same person. I found the obit for her. Same mother and father. Thanks, Lee... Obituary of Nina R. Rittenhouse Horn - Peoria Journal Star, April 26, 1998 - Nina Horn - RUSHVILLE - Nina R. Horn, 98, of Rushville died at 1 p.m. Friday, April 24, 1998, at Snyder's Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home.
She was born Nov. 1, 1899, in Schuyler County to Frank Chalmer and Amelia Schramm Rittenhouse.
Surviving are one sister, Vera Wieser of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; two nieces; and two nephews.
One infant sister and three brothers preceded her in death. She was a secretary at Camp Ellis in Springfield during World War II. She later was a secretary at Long-Koth Insurance Agency in Rushville before retiring. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Persinger Cemetery near Rushville. The Rev. Harold Hedden will officiate. Friends may call from 6 to 8 tonight at Worthington Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Rushville. - Added by lee romrell on Dec 11, 2012 9:26 AM"

Huh? What are you trying to say? SAME? Same as who? Agreed, there are TWO "Nina Horn" burials in Illinois. Surely you aren't telling me that the 1-year-old is the same person as the 99-year-old woman in Schuyler Co.? Or are yo usimply asking me to add the OBIT to the memorial for the 99-year old gal?

Nina Rittenhouse-Horn
Not same person, different dates:

Horn, Nina #18835429
b. 1865 d. Aug. 17, 1866
[Note: child, aged to ~1 year]

Horn, Nina (née) Rittenhouse #51891784
b. 1899 d. 1998
[Note: adult, aged to 99 years]

No cause for concern in my opinion. My memorial is accurate...

P.S. There are over 1,400 "HORN" family memorials in Illinois. It's a common name.

Thanks,
RCK

Since transferring these memorials to you I have done a little research. Do you have a copy of the Lemhi County History Book? I could do more unless you have already found what you need.

Sorry to be so long getting back to you. My husband just recently passed away after a long hard battle with cancer and I haven't kept up on things like I should have. I have now transferred this memorial to you. Good luck.

RE: Polly Holbrook
Lee,

I checked my info. for Polly, her parents, her siblings and their spouses for history. I don't have any history for any of them.

If you have any of these histories, I would be very interested in getting them from you.

I also need pictures for:
Ira C. CURTIS
William J HARRISON
Orvis I MANN
Elsie TWITCHELL

I have pictures for all the others if you need any of them. Also have other pictures for some.

Best,
Kim Schvaneveldt #47435284

Hi Lee, I took a photo of the space(s) to the left of John Rosengreen. As you can see there are no markers for several spaces. It doesn't look like Harriet has a marker. Robb.
