|Arkansas Kin||RE: Kelly-Stripling Cemetery, GA|
Location: in Jones Co., Georgia. From the railroad intersection in Gray travel south on U.S. 129 for approx. 4.5 miles to the intersection of Graham Rd. and turn right. At the first intersection turn left onto the Old Gray Hwy. and travel to the last house on the left. The cemetery has one wrought iron enclosure with many unmarked graves outside. The cemetery is on the property of the Cowart Family and permission and a guide will be needed to visit the cemetery.
There are markers, but it is abandoned and VERY overgrown.

Thank you for your response, but I was able to attach his daughter to him without the transfer. At this time I do not know who his parents are. I only have his mother's name as Lucinda and do not know where she is buried. Their is no memorial for her at this time that I have found.
Thank you anyway.

No problem, it was an adventure as I also looked for other folk.

Thanks Momma! This does seem a bit fun. How do you make a new memorial page though? I have SOOO many Flagg descendants related to the ones on here who don't have memorials.

Yes you can use my pics for your family tree. Thanks for asking.

|Linda ||RE: Joseph C. and Fannie Mae Mason|
The Alabama Death Records on Family Search indicate Greenwood for Dr. Joseph C. Mason. There is no cemetery listed on the same site for Fannie, but I assumed they were together. I am hoping to get to Montgomery in the near future to do further research. Dr. Mason ties into my Butler/Callaway lines, and several of them are in Oakwood, but there seem to be just as many in Greenwood. I will be happy to change the cemetery if I need to. Thanks, Linda

|James Braxton Cotton||Fannie Hubbard Taylor Mason (1861 - Apr. 19, 1945)|
I also tried to fine the grave of Fannie Hubbard Taylor Mason (1861 - Apr. 19, 1945)with the same results as I had with Dr. Mason.

I attempted to find this grave today; however, the gentleman I talked to at Greenwood Cemetery said that there is no record of Dr. Mason being buried at Greenwood Cemetery.
He suggested that you try Oakwood Cemetery in Montgomery.

My bad. You were referring to the flowers I left. That information came from the Fonda List on the Jeff Co genweb site.
If it's not accurate, I'll ask findagrave to take it down. I don't think I can delete it myself.
Thanks for telling me about it.

Sorry but that is not one of my memorials. His memorial does not state his rank or even that he is a Rev vet. Seems to be some mistake.

|RD Calhoun-Eagan||Edward Morgan & Kelsey Bridge|
Hi Caroline, the Kelsey Bridge cemetery has been beautifully restored. My husband's Sons of the American Revolution chapter (Rochester NY) is collaborating with the Leray de Chaumont chapter, NSDAR to recognize the restorer, Richard Perrigo, for his work and to rededicate the veteran's graves on October 2. I would be happy to read a statement from you at the event if you wish. Sincerely, Roberta D. Calhoun-Eagan, Canandaigua NY

I agree, it would be Greta if the tombstones were restored! Then Edward's birthdate would be revealed, and the beauty of their markers would be more evident. Thank you for your kind words and great attitude about historical records.

You may certainly use any pictures I have taken and posted on this site. I was hoping that the photo that I took for you would come out ok since David's stone is a light blue.

Hi - I don't understand the initials G.E. either. I wouldn't think that it was for another grave? I checked the other Parkers, and no G.E. Mark Canaday is the one that posted that picture. I blew the picture up also. You're right, it says G.E. So, I don't know.

Caroline - Sorry I haven't yet found the stone of Alexander. I did find a Catherine Morgan Dewey stone in the same area where Alexander is listed as being, plus 6 more Morgans with no stones either. Is Catherine a member of the family you are looking for?

|Gordon Edwards||RE: Harrison pix|
You are certainly welcome. I had found Wm's parents, Wm Sr and Cornelia, so I figured you might want to expand the tree. Wm and Cornelia are on the opposite side of the Wm & Mayme marker. Herbert and Hunter, as well as Helen Preston & her husband are all in the same plot. BTW, any kin to Rufus Allen Harrison? He has a marker in Oak Hill, but is actually buried in Monte Vista with his wife Mae. He's kin to my wife. Gordon
