I really appreciate you taking the time to get the pixs of the Hansen's grave markers. I know their 2nd great granddaughter and will pass this on to her. Best regards, Gerry

Thanks for the headstone. Too bad it doesn't show when she died. You might want to upload this same image to her husband William J McAllister. Anyway, thanks again.

You are most welcome. I'm glad that I was able to help.
I'd have more fun if I didn't have to be on the lookout for rattlesnakes over at Holy Sep and the weather would cool down!

You are most welcome.
That area of St. Francis is a baby section. The 2nd photo shows the section - St. Dominic, where Melvin's parents are buried. I have to go back today - hopefully, to get better photos of their headstones. There were berries from the tree next to them and even after cleaning the headstones off, the photos didn't look right. Plus the sun didn't help any.

You are most welcome. GLad that I was able to help.
On the obituary - I checked the 2 sites that I subscribe to but didn't find anything. You might try the Santa Ana Main Library. The telephone number is 714-647-5250 or the website is http://www.ci.santa-ana.ca.us/library/
Good luck in your search.

Hi Gary -
I did indeed have some help and told the cemetery that the marker should be right "here".....But there was no marker! There is a wonderful older caretaker at the cemetery who always digs around for headstones when I can't find them. He loves to help and actually had uncovered another one for me - only a row away from yours. How strange they were so close together, since this cemetery is so large!
I will be taking all the pics off the camera and will send them to you today. Glad to have found her marker and delighted to help.

Finally found the marker for your Maud Redmon! We had to dig for it, as it was buried under about 8 inches of grass. The marker is a small concrete one with name only and no dates. Since it was well covered, it has been preserved for years. I have several views and would like to send to you. Is that okay to send to your email address listed?
Since the marker was just uncovered, it is damp, so the pictures reflect this. I will be going back to the cemetery this week and will take additional pictures, as it will then be dry. (well, weather permitting, as it is supposed to start raining tonight.)
Cheers from Washington-

I don't have the books anymore. I was not able to access the books for long because I started a job so I returned them.
If you're in the area or a resident of Richland Twp you can borrow the books too. Otherwise I imagine they would let you look at them. They are very fragile books.
I have no idea who has the Spencer books.
Sorry I could not help you

You had taken a photo of his military headstone but I can tell there is another headstone next to it. Would you please add that headstone as I'm also searching for his wife Ruth. If they are together would you add the photo to her mwemorial also, thanks.

Thank you for your time and response. Elizabeth Howard Kent is my husbands 3rd great grandmother.
Death records, viewable on line, show that the children and their grandmother died within two weeks of each other of typhoid fever. I am trying to determine that the 'grandmother' grave, being a separate plot, belongs to yet another individual.
Thanks again for your time.

Thank you for the photo.....There is a memorial for "Grandmother" Kent....could this be the same individual?
I was able to research the name and it looks like several of the household died within several weeks of each other with typhoid fever.
Thanks for locating and photographing my husbands 3rd great grandmother.
