Monica Hicks Estes
RE: Rhea
You are very welcome. I added a bunch more headstone pictures to that cemetery until it got too dark for pictures. Just never know who else might need one.

Alberto and Martha Vaughan
My husband and I walked the entire cemetery today and did not locate these graves. We did find two old fence posts about three feet high decorated with flowers and a flag located inside the fence bordering the boundary with the adjacent cemetery. It appears to us that they might mark two graves, but we have no way of knowing this. The posts are probably too close together to have belonged to an old fence, but appear to have been in place for a long time. CRH

Yes, it is the same person. I will delete mine, as she is most likely not buried there. Thanks for the info.

Your very welcome, Do you know his wifes name? There is a Lorenne Turner buried next to him. Could they be related? If so I will add her and transfer if needed.

i probably don't have any information on thomas that you don't already have. my daughter and my grandchildren are from thomas lavender's son, edgar. if you follow the links you will end up at my daughter's mother, peggy kelly. i can provide information on peggy's living relatives(her brothers and my daughter's family) if you want it. they live near wiggins, ms. i would rather use regular e-mail instead of find-a-grave mail, though!!!

"MERRY CHRISTMAS" !!!!

sincerely,
tom kelly

Carolyn, I did not create that memorial so I can't change the date on the bio. You'll need to do an edit to the creator and ask for a change.

RE: A. Magee
The cemetery corrected it. I found he was a soldier, and the marker was quite overgrown with grass and dirt. Glad you are happy, cb.

Fairhaven Requests
Just to let you know there is an existing memorial for Goldie #59318509. The person that added it back in Sept 2010, mis-spelled her last name. She is also in the Court of Reflection.

Also you've added 2 memorials for her - you must have double-clicked. The system is very touchy these days. Your photo request is on memorial #80044703. The other memorial is 80044634.

I've claimed both of the Truitt requests, so let me know what you are going to do with Goldie's memorial.

Take care,

Margi

RE: Drake
Hi, Carolyn. It's been awhile since we located her, but my sister & I are both thinking the same thing.

The cemetery is located on the south side of a road which runs east/west, and has three gates. As you face south, the roads inside form an upside-down "w".

Enter the western-most gate and go south; make the left turn at the end of the section, and drive to about the half-way point of the section on your left; then walk north.

We're almost positive that she's in this section - almost in the center just a few markers north, but we can't remember if she's to your right or left. We're very confident you'll find her in the southern part of this section.

About 15 years or so ago, they enlarged the cemetery and added the entire eastern section including the eastern-most gate. Since she passed in 1950, we know she's not buried there. Her marker is laid flat - it does not stand upright.

If you can't locate her, just let us know. We'd be happy to help you in your search. Good luck! Sharon
