Great Cemetery Talk
Hi Russ,

Great chat on Tuesday. It inspired me to register with FindAGrave and I plan on tackling some photo requests in my area.

Thanks,

RE: Thomas Fleming
I'm asking for one that says "Here lies the remains of a Soldier of the Revolution, one of the heroic band who with Washington crossed the Delaware on the 25th of Dec. 1776, etc.
The picture there now has that covered up with a flag over it. I would like to be able to read it as I'm a Fleming. One rootsweb someone said this is what is on the tomstone.
Thanks if you can help.

RE: Russell Snyder
Russ: I am not sure if any of the other names I gave you are actually buried there. But, I can do a photo request for them and hope for the best. Let me know if you need the photo request so you can print out the names. I will try to get it done this week. I can let you know when they are posted so you can claim them first. Thanks!

RE: Russell Snyder
Thanks Russ! Let me know if you find any other Snyder's and I will do a photo request for them too. I am also looking for King, Bowlby, Sleith, James, Betz, Hall & Mullin. If you find any of those names, let me know and I will do a photo request for them too. I really appreciate your help! Pam

RE: Russell Snyder
Hi Russ: I just found out that Joseph Snyder is in my ancestry.com family tree, so I will be adding this information. If you get a chance when the weather warms up, I would appreciate it if you back to the cemetary, to look for any other Snyder's. I think you mentioned looking for Russell Snyder's mother or spouse? His father was Russell Snyder (1882-1954) and his mother was Anna A. King (1887-1970). If you find them, let me know so I can do a photo request for you to fulfill. I am enjoying this almost as much as you! Thanks for all your help. Pam

RE: Photo Request
Russ---thanks for writing.
It wasn't a big problem, just some confusion. We both received the same email at the same time. I claimed the request within 5 minutes of receiving because I've been taking pictures at that cemetery for the past few weeks. You didn't realize I had claimed it and posted a picture. It can easily happen.

RE: Photo Request
That's weird that it wasn't claimed when you saw it. The memorial was created on 4/15, the photo request was made 4/15, I got the email about it and claimed it on 4/15.
Thanks for responding.

Im sorry i have no other info other than birth and death dates. I was told by another research who was working on the same name that they were buried there. He claimed to have taken photos of the headstones but had lost them over time and several moves.
