RE: Jacob Fix
I forgot to mention, sons of Jacob- Michael 1814 and Daniel Jacob 1807 are also listed in and I have requested the managers to link them to Jacob.

RE: Jacob Fix
I was at the cemetery yesterday with no intention of finding Jacob, I didn't even know he was there. And I wasn't quite sure if the last name was Fix, but since my wife is a Fix I took the shot. Now that I know he is there, I will return and get a better photo with the vegetation cleared and an extended angle of the stone. I'll send you a good resolution copy when I do. I might wait until spring when the grass is greener.

L. Borie
Just wanted to thank you for adding the pictures on the Henry Fix memorial. I have no ties to the family, of course, but I was browsing memorials and came across his, and those pictures are some beautiful pieces of history.

Slusser Cemetery Picture FYI
You might want to go back and take another picture for the Slusser Cemetery. It is the little one just as you turn into the driveway for the Restitution Church and Cemetery that you show. It a separate cemetery right out in front in the woods. I didn't know that was 2 separate ones until I was looking at obituaries for my family that is buried in the Slusser one. It is an easy mistake.

RE: John Page
Do you, by chance, know anyone that was a crew member of the LST 342? John Quentin Page is my uncle and I have been trying for several years to collect as many stories as I can from those who were on the 342. I also have information that I have collected over the years, that family members of those who served on the 342 may be interested in. Thanks, CJ

Fix family
Hi Nick,
It was a real pleasure making contact with you. I have learned so much more about this family that I find very interesting.
I must say that you have done a superb job with your memorials in this website. The pictures and stories are great and I realize the effort and devotion given to make it happen.
I also have much info on the Lorentz clan in my family tree. If you require any information concerning him let me know.
Regards, Neil

RE: Fix
Your very welcome. I'm working on Sarah and Fredrick still. I think Sarah doesnt have a marker and Fredrick is really Rodrick R. Cause Rodrick has the smaller stone and the the big one and they are in the locations you listed for Fredrick. If you want I can post the pics in the one you have set up for Fredrick and you can make the changes.
Also I found a Helen Fix. I can transfer her Memorial to you if you would like.

Jason and Mary Harmon
Stephen Fix Memorial
Transfered this memorial to you. We took several Fix photos and did a little work on their genealogy. Our boss was the grandson of Thomas Marshall Fix......Jason and Mary.

Fix stone again
I just added a photo that shows the whole stone, I don't have one that shows the whole stone on the other side, with the other 3 names. Let me know if you want that side, too. I'll get it when the snow melts.

Fix stone
I'll look through my files, I may have one already, if I don't, when some of this snow melts, I'll get out there again. All six of the Fixes are on one stone. I'd like to add the other 2 to my files, what is your source of info that Henry & Anna are buried there? If they had stones, it was gone/unreadable by 1947, as I have an old reading of this cemetery. This is an old cemetery with lots of broken, unreadable stones. I don't live too far away, so let me know what you need.

RE: Mary and Jesse Pettit
Nick, I can't quite make it out either. I know Jesse and Mary Left New York to head out west and both died of yellow fever when they were in Lee County, Iowa right where you look across the Mississippi River to Nauvoo, IL which is a big Mormon site. One of the sons went to Salt Lake City and became big in the church. I think all of the children eventually make it west.

Benjamin Johnson - Inglewood Park
Hello. I have just fulfilled your request for Benjamin and thought you would like to know that there are three other Johnsons buried by him: Sarah May Johnson (next to him) and in the row just below them: Melvin F. Johnson and E. Beryl Johnson. There were no memorials for these other Johnsons, so I created them and added photos.
Merry Christmas

RE: Marcus Johnson
Hi Nick, Thank you for your note. There are three other Johnsons buried next to Marcus.
They are Oliver Carl Johnson, Robert Marcus
Johnson and Clara Louise Johnson. I am not sure if you happen to be looking for them.

Making Benjamin Johnson famous
I am related to Benjamin Johnson. I don't really want to have Benjamin Johnson listed as famous. Then everyone would lose control of the memorial because Find a Grave takes over all of the famous memorials and limits the number of pictures (I think you can only have 3 or less pictures on a famous memorial), the biographical information is limited, etc.

Thanks for contacting me, cousin!
